Landmark of Brisbane, and one of Queensland’s most significant heritages, built in 1930.nEspecially, iconic clock tower and big Christmas tree in King George Square around Christmas season, most wonderful time of the year, deserve to be seen.nIt is known that City Hall was tallest building in Brisbane for 30 years.
There's lots to see in this building. So if you're looking for something to do, go up to level 3. There's a great museum and this is the starting point to many of the tours that you can participate in. We did the walking tour and found out about Brisbane's roll in the Second World War. One place we visited was Customs House... great view of the Story Bridge from the balcony.
Beautiful architecture and special place to visit. King George Square is out front of this majestic building and definitely a must do in Brisbane.
It is a big and classic building will a clock tower. The hall sometimes got free performance open to public. Public also can place a visit to the inner side of the clock tower but need to make reservation. Clock tower not so tall and inner also nothing special; but considered it was free then everything was quite OK
Historical and cultural monument. Famous tourist destination. Excellent ambience and great location.nExcellent place for a day out for the all-age-groups.
ONE OF BRISBANE'S LANDMARK BUILDINGSnThe Brisbane City Hall is a large proud building in the city centre.nAs at August 2022 it is a bit swamped by all the construction going on around it but still worth a visit. There are guided tours for those intereted in the sumptious interior but even the outside is worth walking around.
I always love going to the City Hall Concerts on a Tuesday. The Museum of Brisbane is on the top floor and they have a great exhibition of paintings of Brisbane over the years on at the moment. Worth a visit.
This is a beautiful old building in a great location in the city. Walk through the door and you will be amazed by the architecture and feeling you get.
Great to see all the old architecture, fittings and looking days gone.nnWorth a visit as a tourist or even of you are born and bred.nnFront desk staff of city hall are polite and welcoming.
The guided tour was great. Learned a lot of new things about the building and its history. The Museum of Brisbane was great too
Brisbane City Hall building is a beautiful attraction at the city center of Brisbane. The square in front of the building is a venue to many events. At nights, the building is illuminated by colorful lights which adds to the attractions. The building is next to the Queens street which has a lot of shops. There is 10 minutes walk from the building to the Southbank parkland.
