What a brilliant little space for the budding scientist! With friendly and approachable staff who are super-keen to share their love of science, and a clean space with plenty to do, heading here is a no brainer!nnWe went on a weekday, which meant we only had to share the space with a handful of other families. This also meant we got to get up close with the demonstrations at the Spark Bar, and were able to talk to a data specialist whilst the kids were being entertained elsewhere.nnIt is a small space compared to the floor space of the museum, however, it sure is a feast for the eyes, ears and senses!

Amazing fun for the kids (and big kids) I love this place, it's a lot of fun while educating us on all sorts of things. Second time I have been, and will be back whenever I come back to Brisbane. Thank you for great memories 😊

Great for kids, but could have more content. 1 hous is enough time to comfortably see everything.

My kids and I had such a wonderful experience - enjoyed the live experiments, maker space and all the educational and fun stations. High recommend it!

Kids will love this place, book the tickets in advance especially during school holidays and weekends. Annual pass is the best option.

A fun, intuitive & interactive exhibit for all ages. Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Don't let the name fool you, it's not only about the electrical side of science!

The Queensland Museum and new Spark Lab are an amazing day out. So much learning, so many interactive exhibits and now with Spark Lab everything is new for me to learn and experience with my children. The food was awful though, the children's burger patty was raw which upset me quite a bit and I wouldn't recommend it as a safe, enjoyable place for lunch. However, there are plenty of places close by to eat or to sit and have a packed lunch.

Visited for 2 hours on a Thursday. I had my almost 4 year old and his almost 4 year old friend. The had an absolute ball. They both watched two science presentations and were engaged the whole time. They close for Covid cleaning which is excellent, but we could easily have stayed much longer. We upgraded to annual passes which are a great deal. Only tip would be to head in later in the afternoon to avoid some of the school excursion traffic. It was well controlled but still quite crowded.

I went with my almost 5 year old and he had such a good time. He was interested in pretty much everything, it is very interactive and hands on. The staff is wonderful, knowledgeable, engages with with children and gets them to hypothesize during their experiments and presentations. I would definitely recommend it if you want your children to start getting interested in science.

Extraordinarily interactive experience for children way up to high school age. Entertaining for older visitors as well, at least I was still willing to stay at closing time, after 3hrs of visit.nDefinitely recommended!

Fun place for kids, however not as i remember as a child. Not really a lot of activities compared to what it used to have years ago. My 5 year old was ready to leave after 30 mins, However for the price we paid to get in, i encourage her to stay for a whil elonger

Love this place, we got the annual pass and kids love to hang out here and play in the maker space or various building activities. Love how the maker space activities change regularly and how the staff are so friendly and on hand to assist. These activities are carefully thought out so younger ones can join in as well.
