Il Borro Tuscan Bistro | Dubai

I visited this restaurant during my first month in Dubai and I was very impressed. The restaurant feels really sophisticated without being pretentious and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We were seated at the bar as we didn’t have a reservation. We ordered a cheese board to start and the truffle pasta for mains and this was a real winner- I can see why people rave about this dish! The pisco sour was also yummy and I left a happy happy girl. Looking forward to going back for a special occasion sometime soon.

The place was pretty wonderful, the food was good, the vibes were truly AMAZING.nMy only comment would be on one of the staff, she was a blonde new joiner maybe? She refused to give us a specific table that we asked for saying that they have a lot of guests and you're only 3 and the table fits 5. The restaurant wasn't even crowded! There were A LOT of empty tables! She tried so hard not to let us sit, until we called for the manager and spoke to them and the manager was cooperative. They agreed under the condition that we stay for 2 hours only. And when it was almost time I heard that blonde lady asking the waiters to tell us to leave! Very absurd treatment of customers.nThank God our waiter and server was very nice and friendly 💕💕 he truly was one of the best things about that restaurant. He was a Lebanese guy who speaks Arabic.. I forgot his name.. but he was very nice.

Great Italian restaurant here in Dubai!nEverything tasted perfectly, especially the risotto and the truffle pizza.nTheir coffee was very good, and the cheesecake was excusite.nOur waiter Louis was great and very helpful, made the experience so much better.nDefinitely recommend!

We visited IL Borro in October 2021, I had made the reservations about three weeks earlier just to be safe, wanted to throw a good party for my friends and family. The way leading up to the restaurant is superb, we opted to take taxi as we were unsure if we may have wine during our dinner, so can’t really comment on the ease of parking, but am sure It wouldn’t be a big challenge.nnThere is the option for outdoor dining and indoor dining. The ambience is really great, the place is bustling with people, you can see the chef cooking live across the hall, we had some oysters, fried calamari & prawns, salad with burrata, then moved onto the pasta with truffle, white truffle was also available then, we then had the Bistecca alla fiorentina - 1.3kg of T-bone steak and finally some dessert - the cheese cake was really great. We also had the Bellini, Aperol Spritz and some other drinks. Overall the experience was really great!!!

I went with my other 4 friends. So, our average rating for the food is 7, for desserts is 6 - nothing wow, as usual. Food was good as well. I would go just maybe for the ambiance of the place)
