What a great hotel! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Especially Nadiya and Mohammed in the morning at reception.the breakfast buffet was good.nThe location is great, right next to the creek and close to the 2 subway lines.nThe rooms are very clean.They even have a little balcony.nBreakfast was perfect! There was enough choice of western foodnWe definitely come back to this hotel as it made our vacation perfect! Big thanks to the very friendly hotel staff!

Everything there was nice the room furniture the service is so quick and the staff are very friendly. I asked them for check out delay and they have me until 2:00 pm . I like to thank Rafi for being very helpful to get me a taxi and guide me when I need . It was as a nice stay by khor Dubai view , the creek .there is a plaza at the ground floor contain many restaurants and ladies salon.

Great location.Professional and hospitable staff specially the receptionists,waiters and doormans.nThe person who was working at tourists guide section was not so professional.nThe breakfast was great.Just for omelette it took so much time to get ready and twice the waitress brought wrong dish for me.nAlthough the extra bed which was a coach was not working properly and had noise when rolling during sleeping,other facilities of the room such as coffee maker,refrigerator and weight were working properly.The shower was broken.

Great views of Dubai Creek from the balcony. Well maintained rooms though old hotel. Good service. In-room dining was the best. Breakfast was good too. Book the breakfast in advance and get discount rather than paying directly at the restaurant.

A really comfortable hotel, ideally situated and with staff who really care that your stay is perfect.nIt's hard to state just how ideally situated it is, as everything and everywhere I wanted was either local or easy to get to.nThe rooms are superb, and as I had a creek view one, the views are fantastic.nThe breakfast choice and quality is superb, and the staff there equally so.nIn fact all the staff, Reception, Housekeeping, Pool area, Cleaning and Bar people are helpful, friendly and very genuine.

Although the property is dated, it is well maintained and pleasing to stat. My room had a view of the creek and it was always a delight. Breakfast buffet was excellent, restaurant staff was nice. Reception staff was par excellence. The hotel has a great ambience. Room was comfortable and house keeping was good. Room service was great as well. The only thing I felt was that the doorman at entrance was not always attentive, most of the times I had to push the door myself. Definitely recommended place to stay.

We stayed in this hotel for six nights and all I can say is that we totally enjoyed our stay. The reception desk staff were so helpful and the housekeepers were brilliant. The hotel is also four minutes walk from union metro station so we didn’t have a need to be using taxi if we didn’t want to. The room was big enough for us, and the balcony was the ice on the cake because we could sit outside at night and enjoy the lively view over the creek. We plan to come again soon.

Really nice place, they have a night club for guests and they play Nigerian music. Also they have a place to buy little cute art and piece for decorations I didn't get to buy because I discovered late😪, Dont be like me. Depends on the room u got the bathrooms are way too small to be meant for adults,I am 5'3 and I am complaining😪. Nice view from the room. Also the staff are nice and courteous mostly Pakistanis,They speak lil English.

What a way of having all in one-nDid I mention there are also plenty of stores inside for all the beautiful shopping on jewelry, clothing & antiques. A big hotel with plenty of pleasures as you walk through the corridors.

In general, the hotel is good, but the bathtub is small and there is blackness in it.nnThe staff is friendly as well the Services are pretty good.nnI hope that the guest services will be more taken care of in terms of making sure that all services are available in the rooms

Its a clean hotel, very neat & nice interior. The Junior Suite is super nice. We were excited, its central to a lot of things & also close to the airport. I liked their breakfast, very fulfilling its your stomach that reaches limitsud83dude02, anyway very friendly & welcoming staff during breakfast.nnBUT, upon arrival we were told the hotel is fully booked due to the holidays, & we were asked to top up a fee to get a Junior Suite, which was worth it , no regrets. However after agreeing to the upgrade it seems the damage to property deposit is also topped up prior to the standard room. In efforts to try & understand why the front desk guy’s response was “you made your booking through booking.com & prices & rates are different from the hotel”. But They are the same people who sent us a confirmation that they have received our booking, the amount & asked if we had any special requests.

It's a beautiful place to stay. Each room has a very nice balcony with view of the beautiful creek and the city. It's very close to the Airport. I'm ruining late to catch the flight is not the case. On top of that, the services rendered to visitors by the employees are awesome.nOverall, it's a great and excellent experience.

Comfortable hotel with a very classic feel. Apparently a historic one as it was the first hotel in Dubai. Beautifully renovated without compromising on the classic feel.nVery attentive and welcoming staff and good service.nReally good breakfast and a number of good restaurants on premises and around.

The hotel is near all the major attractions that the old city could offer!!! Usually Iu2019m going to the hotelu2019s restaurants, because they have a great package and they are very good, about food quality and about Location! Ones I stay for couple of night and I was very happy about rooms and friendly staff. The housekeeping staff deserves a big thanks for noticing it was my birthday and leaving me a big surprise on the room when we came back from our day. Breakfast buffet at the hotel is really awesome!!nI really suggest this hotel if you e want to discover the old dubai!!

I would have rated 1/5 but the service of the staff is great and they save the reputation of this historic hotel. Although this is a 5 star hotel the people that frequent it unfortunately are not. It is kind of a party hotel, people are really loud until late hours and you might not be able to sleep properly. So if you are planing to rest on the night I do not recommend this hotel.

One of the oldest hotels in Dubai. Love it. It has a specific charm to this place. Restaurants at the 1st floor are very good. The cafe' downstairs next to the retail shops need an upgrade or at least need more item to serve.

Wish i could give 5 stars but the waiter and waitress were over rude like they work for free.. the only good one there was Chalito.. she covered all of them and she was very polite and helpful
