The First Collection Business Bay

I had some trouble with reception upon my arrival, as I had been promised an early check-in after a long flight from Taiwan. However, I was disappointed to find that the hotel staff tried to charge me extra fees. On the positive side, the hotel is relatively new and has some great amenities such as a lovely pool and a gym that's available 24 hours a day.nnAlthough the rooms are spacious, they require some maintenance to bring them up to standard. On the other hand, the breakfast was enjoyable with a good selection of dishes to choose from. The hotel employees were very helpful and friendly, providing great service throughout my stay.nnThe hotel's location is convenient for those who want to be close to the mall and the Khalifa tower, but it may be too far from the marina for some. Additionally, the hotel is situated between two hotels under construction, which may cause some noise disturbances. Overall, the hotel has some areas for improvement, but it does have some good points as well.

The hotel is a great choice if you are in Dubai to explore the city as it is near downtown. The hotel also offers shuttle services. The decor is very modern and cozy. The breakfast restaurant is very good and it has outdoor sitting area. The pool is big with lots of comfortable sunbeds and sitting area. The staff is very helpful. Special thanks to Hisham who did his best to make our stay comfortable.

The hotel looks amazing, the rooms are very clean, the service is pleasant, the first hotel where we come in the world for a business trip and you must walk around the hotel with the credit card in your hand, even if you’re staying for 10 days and you book you’re stay with your card and you let it as a deposit, the restaurant, the pool bar and the room service looks like they are not connected with the hotel, everything you use you must pay straight away, we go to the pool, definitely without a card, they insisted that the payment must be done after every service, the first hotel in my life I am hearing something like this. You can’t enjoy and stay relaxed one minute.nWe must have an invoice and a full payment after our stay, here is the only place where you can’t, they work different.nnSad because the hotel has more potential than this kind of management!

Hotel interior is nice and fresh. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast offer is wide and tasty. The pull has a grate view to the city. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. Location is not far from the center, but there are no pedestrian paths around, so safest way to move around is with taxi.

I loved the room & the facility in general. People in Reception are lovely. Thanks varul !!nnRest of the staff is horrible. I don’t think housekeeping had any training and they act as they don’t want the job. Cleaning is not up to the level i am paying for. They just arrange the bed & leave everything else (trash, empty bottles even trays and glasses from room service stayed in our room for two days) Every time they clean the room we need to call for robes and slippers.nnBreakfast can be improved.

Not staying here again. I just checked out from this hotel very upset about the ill treatment by some of the staff. The issue was with the hotel policy on wearing face masks. Whilst I’m all for abiding by the rules and would encourage wearing masks, however rules MUST be fairly and equally applied to all guests. For some odd reasons this hotel selectively asks guests to wear masks in the lobby and restaurants. I have observed the staff unfairly skipping most guests and singling out others. Absolutely appalling and unfair. Staff must be reminded and continuously trained to ensure they treat everyone the same to avoid upsetting guests on such touchy issues.

The hotel is new just launched in July.nStaff still have some miss management.nHotel staff needs more training how to deal with customers.nSome times room key stops working with no reason.nReception area is nice with good seating places.nHotel furniture are new and clean.nHousekeeping services quite slow and more time that than usual standard.nCar park is available and clean with easy access.nPrice considerably high specially that hotel is trial phases.

Since its still new, its very comfortable to sleep on the new bed and new linens.nnI like the eco-friendly door card and toothbrush that are made of bamboo.nnBut we came in a weekend getaway, so there were lots of guest. And the toiletries and towel, that they set were good for one person. We called and waited and follow up after an hour and called again.nnAnyways hoping they will maintain the cleanliness and coziness of the place.

Loved my stay at this hotel so much. Reception was super friendly and helpful (thanks, Rayan!), & services were top notch.nnAlso, I had the opportunity of trying out the steakhouse (Blacksmith). The chef was such a cool guy, we had a good chat about the steak that he was about to serve me, and it turned out UNREAL. Special thanks to Ronah for being so attentive and pleasant during the service.nnAbsolutely fantastic hotel, would definitely book again when I visit Dubai.

This hotel is more than awesome. We visited Vyne restaurant for dinner and it was amazing. Really enjoyed delicious food and Mediterranean vibe. View from the pool area is gorgeous. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are very affordable
