Amazing Spa , great and relaxing ambiance

Bad experience the place is not clean enough .. The music inside the message room not for message its for dinner or tea break .. The cleaning is bad inside the room u can smell it is not cleaned more than 3 days maybe .. Two toilets I tried and omg bad dirty and sticky .. Its July 2022 the world is developing what is this???nnThe therapiest is very good & the receptionist too..nnNo one was there except me and today is a weekend!!!! I even asked for which tym they are free .. they gave me freedom..nnIts a big spa but only myself therennThe elevator in the hotel going to spa smell like pee I got shocked this is in Yas islandnnRemember u wana relax dont go for it

I do not normally write reviews but I guess I would not really rate or recommend the SPA at W so much that I have decided to write a review.nnI went there for a birthday treat my husband bought me recently (Pricey enough when you see the prices) He bought the hour long massage of my choice.nnUpon arrival the staff are polite I will give them that. My massage and the lady giving it was nice too, I asked for medium relaxing and it was gentle enough without sending me into a coma! The did not have any SPA flyers or information on any treatments ...just a QR code to look at everything online.nnI guess having been to a few SPA's around the world whilst travelling living and when in my home county Ireland, I would have expected much more of a SPA 'experience' for the price and well my time there. I thought there would be an SPA like ambiance and facilities to enjoy after. I really felt overall, the SPA lacks any atmosphere whatsoever. The changing area is fine ..very clean and dimly lit like most spa places but nothing special. I was given tea after to have in what felt more like a hotel waiting reception area on a uncomfortable couch which was in a cold dim corner and sitting there in my robe,shivering it felt a bit strange to be honest as it was located right by the exit door. I was given Ginger tea, given which had sugar in it ( I was informed it had ) but the other option was green tea which I really dislike. Yet upon taste it was so sugary I could not drink it. Yikes. I find it unusual that a SPA after a treatment would serve up such a sugary drink. Like didn't my massage gently drain and detox my system or at least that's one of its benefits and yet here it is this super sugary drink which is going to give me the jitters leaving for sure. They had small bottles of water on a table by the exit door so I just grabbed one and got changed and left. I have two small children and I am a stay at home mother so maybe my expectation of getting away for an hour or two...to be transported into a calm...tranquil atmosphere of a high standard SPA with use of an indoor pool perhaps ...a sauna ...an area to lounge back with stunning water features or calming music or at least a calming view whilst sipping on a clean freshly made lemon and ginger tea was perhaps too much to hope for * ( The W holds high expectations after all) and the environment and experience really fell ...well a bit flat to be honest. I guess if your looking for a walk in, get a massage and leave kinda place- no nonsense, no frills then this is the place for you.nBut for that reason I wouldn't return nor will I recommend it to any of my fellow mummy groups or friends here in Abu Dhabi.

Great staff great service great location

Came for a massage for the first time and I was very impressed with the place and the service. The therapist Vee was very patient and explained what are the different types of massages. I was automatically teleported to an oasis surrounded by waterfalls and soothing sounds of nature :-) Everything was very professional. Highly recommend it!

Amazing therapists and very comfortable atmosphere. Attention paid to nail care was superb. Pricey, but they pay attention, even for relatively common services like a basic pedicure.

Very nice atmosphere. Staff is super courteous. The lounge areas are so relaxing and pool access is a plus. I'll definitely go back.
