So i joined membership in the hotel as ive done this with many hotels before. Pool. Beach. Is fine. Asked about gym usage no reply about it for weeks now. Got ignored. Food menu is not great as before seems they changes it. Its great place. Nice. Relaxing. For a 5 star hotel. I think they cant afford the electric bill for heating the pool. As its dam cold now. Great place will stay member for a year or 2. Will see how it goes.
Our stay in Fairmont has been excellent!! From the room to the Buffett breakfast to the staff that work here, everything has been perfect! Very great stay here, private beach is fantastic. Jet ski rental there too. Pool gets very crowded but is nice. Also restaurant options in the hotel’s lower levels are world class. Service is great. Room was a good size.
The hotel has a nice location and spacious rooms, however my check in experience was horrible as I had to wait for 1 hour & the keys to my room were not activated. They also moved my car from entrance without telling me. Lovely place but they need to work on making their guests comfortable.
Visited this hotel as part of my participation in a conference. Easy reach, easy parking, and excellent welcoming. Lobby is spacious with a Cafe and water running around. Conference area at the waterfront with spacious area and open access to beach. Bathroom is super clean and luxurious.
Very well appointed 5* hotel. Excellent selection of outlets from haut cuisine to the ‘pub’. I used the pub and the choice of food was fine for a short stay (4 nights). Very nice location and outdoor leisure facilities very nice. Good gym on site, full gym that hotel guests have use of so much better than most hotel gyms. Staff were all excellent and service provided also. I will certainly use this hotel again.
This place knows what it means to be in the hospitality business. From reception to room service, all of them are there for you to make your stay the most special and unique. Everyone is smiling and welcoming.nnThey're ready to serve regardless of how werid your request is. I called to ask if I can heat something that I bought last night, to my surprise ten minutes later, a microwave was delivered to my room. I was in AW at how they go above and beyond to make your stay as unique as possible.nnIf this business continues this way, I can see it will only prosper. Thanks Fairmont for making my vacation amazing! Again, you can't go wrong with this hotel, (The Fairmont Room is outstanding and luxurious)
Fantastic hotel. Great location at the canal, in a calm and relax environment. You can see the beautiful Great Mosque on the other side of the lagoon.The service (reception, concierge, restaurant, housekeeping) is amazing and truly what you would expect from a 5 stars hotel. Everyone makes you feel at home.
We went group of friends to the sea food ud83dude0b buffet.nnOutstanding food, good quality ud83dudc4c friendly stuff.nnThere was a lot of people but you don't feel it crowded.nnOutside area is also fantastic during the winter time.nnRecommend with family ud83dudc6a and friends.nnKeep up the great work
I gave only 3 stars rate because of the cleaning and the stuff friendly skills. Nobody will assist you to reach your room and which is the nearest alleviate to it.nThey take long time to deliver you car and they hints you to give them money, so be carful.nOverall the hotel is nice and it have good location.
The hotel is amazing, the room spacious and clean so as the bathroom. These are the views when you wake up first in the morning and sitting outside on the beach, just breathtaking.nnMost importantly, all the staffs were friendly and helpful, but ( Tareq ) is just a man who assists you, he helped us and make our stays convenient.
Nice hotel. Fair rates. Besides one front desk agent making a strange comment on my tattoos, everyone was super friendly and helpful. In-room dining is decent. Pool and beach area is gorgeous. 100% would recommend.
Everything was just perfect! The food in the different restaurants was delicious. The staff was so friendly and nice. The view was incredible. I will definitely come back and stay a little bit longer.
Nice hotel with excellent location, nice food and good lobby. Nice pools and beach front.also nice people.nHowever , I have the following to consider:n- furniture of the rooms are old, desks are old and full of scratches , sofa is old with many stitches, office desk and chair is the worse, TV channeled are poor, yes bedrooms needs face left for surenThanks
The sprawling beachside property offers a stunning view of the Grand Mosque which is the perfect backdrop for dramatic sunsets. They have restaurants that represent Eastern and Western cuisines and of course, Middle Eastern delights. Butntheir most appealing asset is their staff from all departments. Their hospitable and congenial manner is what made my stay here a heartwarming experience.

A great hotel with nice rooms and amazing views. The restaurants are also great with good service. Very quick to meet any request! And back to the rooms. Those showers are WOW! Best shower I have seen in any hotel. I stayed there when it opened and itu2019s still a great hotel. Just needs a bit more kids pools and family oriented setup, but overall good!
Very welcoming staff, from the hotel entrance to inside, they gave positive energy, very clean, I attended a 2 day training and I feel like I'm a guest, food is good too, seasoned perfectly you don't need to asked for extra seasoning, from salads to sweets! And I love the comfort room, very classy and spotless! And wow, luxurious brand of hand wash and lotion in the toilet ud83dudc4dud83dude0d! I'm wondering how will be their rooms, very nice view on the back too with the water view or beach? So relaxing to sit and drink nice landscaping!
Wonderful service from the moment I stepped foot in the hotel. Our room was very spacious and clean. We had the cutest towel art done in our room. Roy Gonzalez of housekeeping was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure we were always comfortable and had what we needed. My family and I will definitely be returning soon!
Room was very clean, neat and had the best view! The hospitality from the reception up to when we came into our room was superb! Special mention to Mr. Roy Gonzales and Mr. Chamil who took great care of us. They even had the initiative to request to do something special for our wedding. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel and salute to all the hotel staff. Our stay was indeed memorable.

My favorite place to go whenever I want to relax. The staff is just as accommodating. Breakfast is worth the price of your stay and it is included. Will definitely be staying again.
We stayed in Fairmont Bab Al Bahr to celebrate my birthday and it was a good choice aside from the fantastic location the service we received from the staff is beyond to our expectation! Pool & beach: Ive noticed they set the pool temp according to the weather (I think), so the pool water temperature always feels right. The staff that work at the restaurant are great and the food comes fast, but the prices are over priced and would like to see more reasonable priced options on the menu.
