They lost two stars because the actual room sucked!nnThe room was super outdated.nThe shower had mold.nThe lamp and the blow frier broke.nnThe rest of the hotel, including their spa and lounges are top quality.nnStaff is super friendly.nnLocation is good.nnThey need to renovate their rooms!
Great location and access to the mall. The staff are great, except for the front desk who are quite rude (esp. Yuli). If you get a room with main road view, expect not being able to sleep due to crazy road noise.nnBreakfast service is average, with little variety and understaffed service.nnAlso, gym is tiny and under equiped, depite that they seem to be selling external memberships and PT session to outside guest with the PTs blocking machines for ling time, which made the gym crowded all time and almost unusuable for inhouse guests.nnThey kept herassing me about the credit card pre authoeization every 10 days, like I was going to leave without settling my food bill. I found it quite annoying and below marriott standards.
Being a 5 star hotel does not always mean its a luxury hotel. This location is more of a business hotel for visitors of trade conventions or tourists not staying at a resort style hotel.nnIt is still of high quality and a fun place to go for dinners and enjoy the pubs. Its still a good standard but lacks the fine touches you would expect in a luxury hotel.
Location is perfect. Room sizes are pretty decent. Lovely food. Staff courteous. The place had the FIFA fever running during my stay. The pool area was brimming with energy during matches. Overall ambience was good.
Great hotel. Accidentally stayed here for 2 days due to early arrival. Super glad I did. Staff are awesome, bar is fun, and food is great. Connected to mall. Hotel all done up nice for the World Cup too!
After check in, nobody took care of us. There were two different towers for rooms we went the wrong one. Nobody said you're the wrong way. The man who was at lobby, didn'nt give any information about staying without asking! I think they could see it was our first time at hotel. There was loud music outside maybe it's coming from hotel's cafe or pool like it's in room. I needed to sleep for going work at 10 o'clock at evening because of my job but it was impossible. Rooms were clean, but it took too much time to be warm, it was 20 degrees and i froze. The breakfast was good.
Hotel is in downtown Doha connected to a mall so it is convenient. Rooms are spacious but a bit dated . Service was great overall. Very friendly staff, once you get used to the numerous security check and the extra ( and I mean extra!) Security everything else is fine.
Great central locationnReally enjoyed its location in the city centre where everything is within walking distance. The staff was very helpful, breakfast really delicious, and the room nice. I appreciated the luggage room option as well.
I visited this hotel for a service treatment at their Saray Spa. If you are 16+ (US sized), be prepared to take your own spa robe and towels; the sizes they have available are for women who have small frames. The vibe was definitely welcoming, but not having robes or towels that all bodies can use, sends a powerful message. There's also a sauna and steam room, but please note that these services are outside the Spa. One would need to redress, walk to the location where the sauna and steam room are located, then undress again. Needless to say, if you were hoping for a stress free spa day partaking in all the services on offer, then note that given the changing and walking involved, its totally not convenient.
