About Whale Watching Adventure

Of all the great whales, the Humpback is the most surface active displaying behaviour that will not only inspire you but leave you in awe. There quite clearly is no better place to observe the mighty Humpback Whales than Brisbane’s Moreton Bay, acknowledged as one of the world’s best whale watching destinations in the world.

Your Captain Kerry Lopez, is recognised as the only female Captain that owns and skippers a whale watching venture in the South Pacific rim.  Kerry's skilled and dedicated friendly crew will assure you an unforgettable whale watching adventure

Enjoy a beautiful, gourmet picnic lunchbox as you look on in awe as these amazing gentle giants relax in your company, breach, blow and play all within meters from the boat. Located 30 minutes north of the Brisbane CBD on the beautiful Redcliffe Peninsula, we are pleased to offer guests a luxury full day’s whale watching adventure on the magnificent vessel 'Eye Spy' with the following inclusions:

  • Boarding commences at 9.00am for a 10.00m departure
  • Returns back to the Redcliffe Jetty by 2.30pm
  • Gourmet picnic lunchbox including chicken, ham, garden salad, potato salad, fruit and more
  • Extensive and informative commentary
  • A portion of every ticket is donated to ongoing whale research with various whale organisations
  • A licensed bar, snack and souvenir counter is available
  • Wheelchair accessible (please contact reservations to discuss)
  • Tours operate daily from June to November (weather permitting)
As an Eco Accredited Company, we believe that providing people with an opportunity to witness these amazing creatures first hand, not only puts a lot of smiles on guests faces but offers an increased awareness of the beauty of nature and the need to nurture our precious wildlife.

So before you get on the boat they tell you a lot of people get sea sick and they recommend you purchase sea sickness tablets on board. The first thing I did was purchase a tablet. The first hour of the trip or so I felt brilliant. We arrived at the whales and kaboom I got sick everywhere. The staff were so lovely and helpful. I did get to see some whales but sadly due to feeling so sick I was mostly fixated on my vomit bag. They got me to sit at the back of the boat and I got to see lots of dolphins and some of the whale action. The boat and the toilets were immaculately clean, staff so friendly and kind, and the opportunity to see all of the whales and dolphins was awesome. I highly recommend you prepare ahead of time with sea sickness tablets ud83eudd23 and if you want to go whale watching this company is definitely worth it u2764ufe0fud83dude01

Great experience aboard eye spy! Whales seemed to love it as much as everyone else! Had a pod of dolphins join in the fun too - would recommend and will be going again!

Absolutely marvellous! I have been not one time and I definitely will come back! Amazing view, whales are so close. Captain Kerry loves whales and she shares her passion and knowledge. All crew members are friendly and lovely people. Thank you so much for what you are doing! And I came back so I will add more photos. And I will be back again. 😉

A pleasant stroll along the jetty when in Redcliffe. Nice views from the end of the jetty looking back at Redcliffe and a great place to grab food from the local market and go for a walk. Dogs are allowed on the jetty and there's generally a few people fishing from there too. Get's quite busy during peak times!

Disappointed, booked a full day tour.nnBrisbane Whale Watching Cruise - Full Day - Adult BWW011/nnLeft port at around 950am back atn205pm, since when does approx. 4 hours constitute a Full Day???nIf I’m working for a full day I am there approx. 8 hours……sure my boss would disagree with 4 hours being a full days work.n1 hour to open waters, 2 hours chasing whales, 1 hour back to home base. 4 hours.nWe saw a few whales, a couple of distant breaches, a tail flap or two, although just glimpses.nSecond time we have tried this and second time same result as first.nThe staff were very helpful and friendly, some ok commentary, lunch was good also.nWould love to get that special trip where whales actually come up to the boat but alas, that will always be “should have been here yesterday” territory, maybe try Hervey Bay next time.nRegards.nWayne.

Went on Friday 29 postponed from Wednesday 27 and I had a wonderful day.lots of sightings tail slaps. Pectoral fins. Staff were knowledgeable. Food was tasty. Unfortunately being short and having to hold on tightly once we were past Cape Moreton most of my photos were of other passengers legs and backs. But have some great memories. Thanks very much to the crew.

Nice place to visit. Many people fishing here. Whale watching cruise is here, need to buy tickets in advanced and depends on weather condition.

Lovely place to visit day or night, good for sunrise and sunset, can walk either direction on the Esplanade for beautiful walks and views. Tables and chairs in the middle for picnics, parking all around but usually busy.

A great day out, we had such a good time and saw quite a few whales playing close by to the boat. Would definitely recommend if you want a close encounter without having to get wet 😆nAdded bonus, lunch is included in the ticket price and as a fussy eater I was pleasantly surprised.nA variety of drinks, snacks etc available for purchase on board as well as sea sickness tablets in case you forgot to bring some.nMy only complaint is the size of the coffee...so teeny tiny, they need to at least give you the option of a bigger size....we need our caffeine 😂

I'm here often. It's a great spot be it for date night with the restaurants and beer gardens asking the esplanade, a family day out or a place to find your peace.
