Urban Bar & Kitchen – UBK

We were looking for some place with the kitchen open as it was already late. We choose UBK. Overall the place was nice. Tables were a little sticky, but it’s a problem of a lot of bars. We took octopus tempura…. Really disappointing , tasteless and almost no octopus. For mains we took spicy chicken - really good, and 2 Schnitzel- it was really tasty, with anchovies on the side and potatoes salad! One of the best which I ever had. For 100aed I will put a little bigger portion but it’s ok. For dessert we took chocolate lava cake ( a little too much bake, not much “lava “ inside 😅) and churros - really disappointing…nnI will come back only for Schnitzel😅☺️nService really nice and friendly , Monica 10/10💪🏻💪🏻

The food is great and there's lots of variety for vegetarians and vegans. There's a happy hour drinks menu until 8pm every night. The service is always good.nnLive music on certain nights and pet friendly on certain days. Quite a few TVs for anyone interested in sports.nnEntrance to UBK can be found in the basement. You can also get there from the staircase in the left parking lot next to Movenpick Hotel...Might also be able to enter directly from Movenpick Hotel. I know I struggled to find it the first time I went.

Good bar to wine down. If you're looking for a place to hang out in the weekends solo, couple or groups i think it's the place. You do not need to be overdressed just casual & decent. The music is a bit loud the food was ok. Will recommend it

Amazing place to hangout. I reserved a table in advance when we arrived the front lady showed me our table where they place reservations tag with the name it was so sweet. Dickie was amazing server he came to check on us time to time and he was very friendly and funny as well. Thank you for lovely evening u263aufe0f

What an amazing day it was. Beautiful ambience. I came to Dubai after 2 years. So I've been there after the day I landed. And this kind of experience which I got feels like welcoming. Very furious and friendly Phillipinas staffs. Great live music over it was crazy I wish I could 10/10 Stars but this review station won't allow me to do so. Thank You guy's I'll come back once my salary comes up.

To ensure there was no scene being created I showed my phone and also told them we don’t care about winning it, which we didn’t. But we got questioned based on other contestants questioning the host. So childish. Never going here again considering your game hosts think people are guilty first rather than innocent. Highly immature to say the least. Never going here again.

BRILLIANT HANGOUT PLACE.nI've been to UBK few times. Brilliant ambiance with live music, super delicious 😋 food, friendly staff. They have both indoor and outdoor seating arrangements. Special thanks to Dicky, Jenica, Cheryl, Manylin and Samu for their brilliant service. Also my special thanks to Gokul their F&B; Manager, for everything that he arranged for us, whenever we've been to UBK. For people who wants to chill and have fun, then you can play pool, they have 2 pool tables, or dart or zenga of Foosball. A must visit place. Kudos guys. Keep Rocking 🤘🏾🤘🏾

Their chef is awesome! had butter chicken with rice and it was very tasty and mouth watering, highly recommend for groups. Their outdoor seating is quite nice, music level was perfect. Ambient is beautiful Definitely going back again!

It was a lovely Saturday brunch experience. Amazing ambience, it was a perfect weather for outdoor seating with my family. Enjoying the BBQ while listening to live music. The singer has lined up beautiful songs really enjoyed it. I would like to thank you to all amazing staff who took care of us. From the reservation Ms. Princess, the servers Jenelyn, Manilyn, Cliff and Hriday the Chef. Kudos to you guys! Can't wait to come back again soon.

Despite the attractive outside look and live atmosphere, the plates were served dirty, and the chicken in standard Caesar salad was quite tough to chew. Wanted to give 4 stars, however the friendly staff donu2019t often look around, so youu2019ll have to wave for several times until someone comes up. UBK is a lovely place to hang out with friends & family.nnBeautifully designed garden bar which have a live music. it is a spacious bar and lounge with a massive bar table on one end and tables on the other. The dark, warm ambience, exposed filament bulbs, opulent interiors and great music sets up the mood. Bar counter is very well designed in the corner and looks very attractive. The Seating arrangement is super comfortable. They have lot of different tables depending on the group size. this place has a very pretty interior. The lighting design and placement will definitely catch your attention. Music at this place was also excellent.nnAll in all, definitely a place to visit with your date or for groupies. There is ample space to let your footloose. The staff was polite and helped us with the menu selections. The service was excellent, presentation exquisite, and the ambience very vibrant. The music and am told the live sessions are icing on the cake.

I like everything about this place..the vibes there are cheerful and casual, music is nice too, very lively and upbeat, staff are friendly. The food is really good amd usually they have offers either for ladies night or brunches. I went there many times. And i will go there again for sure.
