Vibe Hotel Sydney Darling Harbour

Stayed here Sat 21/1. I had stayed here Feb 2020 and I loved the hotel. Took my partner here and we were both so disappointed in everything. Were given a disabled room when we didn't request one, were then given the smallest room ever, resembled nothing to the beautiful large room I stayed in last time. We had a package which included wine a cheese. The screw top bottle of cheap sparkling wine was terrible and costs $8 in a bottle shop and the thoughtless cheese plate was nuts, crackers and the most tasteless wedge of cheese. Each time we walked past the front desk, all four front desk workers were glued their computer screens looking like robots and never said hello. Went to the rooftop bar for a drink after dinner and for some reason every single heater was turned on. Its summer!! The young blonde girl that apparently greets you at the bar needs to go. She clearly doesn't want to be there and is far from welcoming. We will never stay here again and I will never recommend anyone else to. Clearly the management need training to teach the staff proper customer service.

We stayed here a total of 6 nights. We had a good stay, the rooms were modern and the beds were very comfy. The shower set up could be better but the bath products were great and I liked that they did them in a large format. If you pay for the breakfast at the connecting cafe the food is very good. Sofie from the reception desk was very helpful when we had an issue with our room.

We stayed at Vibe Hotel Darling Harbour for 6 nights and it was absolutely amazing. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and we felt very welcomed on our arrival. The room was spacious and very nice, the bathroom was also amazing. We had a not so pleasant stay with another hotel previously so this one was a great relief! It has great views of the city and is convenient as it is a short walk to the train station. It was like a home away from home. Would definitely stay there again.

Super nice!!! For small group travelling! I would love to come back if I am lucky enough to find a room! 3people is maximum for one room, even it’s big room they have. Mine was big enough for 2 female, love it’s modern interior and rooftop bar&pool! Great vibe! Lovely staff. Great coffee in ground floor, love your soy FW! 💕💕

Room was beautiful and the art deco style bathroom and decor were awesome. Service was friendly and efficient. I would have ranked higher but there was something off with the heating/cooling in our room and in the hotel as a whole was very humid and stuffy - that being said, it could have just been the time of year. The breakfast package was really good value and the meals were decent.

Best recommendations and here is why - excellent customer service, special thanks to Alice & Diane for making our stay unforgettable. They really went the extra mile to make everything happen for us.nSuper friendly rooftop staff, fantastic music upstairs and of course, what an incredible sunset view from the Vibe Hotel rooftop. Highly recommended :)

Adequate enough. We had travelled to Sydney the week before and stayed at the far superior Kimpton Margot for the same price.nnConvenient to Darling Harbour and very reasonably priced car parking over the road.nnIf you can get a room for less than other hotels in the area give it a shot. Otherwise there are better options.

Paid for a balcony room & cheese board/wine, wasnu2019t what was pictured online. The room very dark & balcony super small. Cheese board was a plate with 2 pieces of cheese and rubbery crackers! Wanting to change we paid the extra for a room with a bath which was so much better BUT had stains all over the sheets. I wouldnu2019t stay again !

We had a great time at this hotel. Room and facilities were great. We didnu2019t use the pool but wish we had taken swimmers to use it. We didnu2019t eat there but wish we did after a poo meal elsewhere. We will definitely stay again!

Bathroom although beautifully renovated, was not practical. The door to the bathroom was a hung mirror on tracks, that would slide over and actually wouldn’t completely close, creating little privacy. Our bathroom also didn’t have a fan. The shower although appearance wise appeared groovy, provided little room and comfort for my husband to lay and wallow in self pity whilst being hungover. Staff were friendly however.

Vibe hotel on Darling Harbour could not have been better and was absolutely perfect.nImmaculate room and very modern feeling.nnThe staff while booking (especially Daniel) and at the front desk while checking in and out were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. My partner had special requirements as she was unable to use the lift so the staff showed no hesitation in letting us use the fire stairs instead whereas every other hotel in the area flat out refused our request.nnWe very much appreciate the hospitality from the team at Vibe Darling Harbour.

Rooms is pretty small for the price. Customer service by male staff were shocking, but the females were excellent.nManager was awesome.nSomeone stole my shirt at the pools when i accidentally left it there for under 10 minutes.nI think for the price of stay, could of been more worth it somewhere else.

Average.nnExtremely difficult to communicate with the receptionist. Needs serious training on how to operate the computer systems and communicate with the guests. We experienced this both by the phone and in person.nnWe contacted the hotel in advance for an earlier check in, understanding that we are not entitled for this as part of our booking… but called in hopes.nWe were advised that they would inform us if there was an earlier check in possible but they did not. When asking the manager on arrival there was in-fact several rooms available for early check in.nnWe were they placed in the wrong room with a double rather then a king. Then we were moved to the correct room (also available for early check in)nThe manager on did sort this out quickly. But overall the receptionist wasn’t particularly friendly or welcoming.nnThe king bed is two beds pushed together. The room smells damp but is probably difficult to avoid with the current weather situation.nnI really liked the decor of the hotel, it gives vintage retro vibes. Particularly, the shower and bathroom The view from our hotel room was also really nice.nThe rooftop heated pool is beautiful with views of the city.nThe bar also has an awesome view and great decorations and atmosphere.nnOverall I liked the style and atmosphere of the hotel but would recommend further raining for staff and it would improve the quality of the stay.nnImages attached: view outside hotel & rooftop pool.

My stay was fantastic. The food is brilliant, the cocktails were great. The room was nice. Good view and comfy! The pool was definitely a highlight and a lot of fun. However the best part of the stay was the wonderful staff. They were all so accommodating and friendly but especially one of the waitresses from Above 319 and a receptionist named Tasha. Definitely plan on going here again.nnP.S If Tasha ever sees this thank you for the recommendations in Newtown. I had a blast :)

Unfortunately pretty disappointed. I’m very glad I managed to book at a sale price because I would never pay full price for this hotel.nThe pool was nice but tiny, we were lucky to be the only ones there at the time. The bar was also photographed to look much larger than it was.nI specifically emailed the hotel before booking to find out about the difference between the deluxe and standard rooms. I was told that deluxe rooms were on a higher floor with a nicer view so I booked deluxe. Turns out we were only on level 5 with a view of other surrounding apartment blocks… very misleading considering I specifically asked these questions prior to be sure I would get what I was after. I also specifically booked a king room and confirmed this the day before our stay, instead we got two twin beds pushed together.nNo room service, no hotel robes, no items in the mini bar fridge, limited toiletries - definitely a budget hotel.nTo top it off, upon check out I asked for a “fresh juice” as advertised at the Sussex store only to be offered a glass of golden circle juice straight out of a 2L bottle that you’d buy from the supermarket.nThe only positives of this hotel are the modern room design and spacious bathroom. Won’t be returning.
