Had a wonderful day at Sydney zoo. Easy to get around with plenty of enclosures. Pricing was reasonable. Ample parking but I couldn't quite see the disability parking. I would recommend turning your day tickets into an annual pass. Better still become a member and then you get 10% off at the zoo shops and eateries.

First time here, my kids enjoyed it. It was a busy day luckily it wasn't as hot as a normal summers day. We took food and drinks with us in a beach trolley. Food and drinks and ice cream are available but pricey. Good layout, flat surface every where and easy to get around. Highlights were the chimps, monkeys and lions. Love the idea with the bridge. Also if it gets a bit too hot the reptile area is nice and cool with air con. Had a few shaded areas and picnic tables to stop by. The kids loved the ferris wheel. All and all spent about 3hrs here. We went after noon and most animals were tucked away and asleep, prob best to go in the morning or late afternoon during feeding time. Parking is for free and easy access off the highway.

This is a fantastic experience for both the photographer in you or to just enjoy looking at animals from around the world.nAlthough this zoo is relatively small when compared to Western Plains Zoou2026 itu2019s well laid out and creates possibilities of easily checking out particular exhibits multiple times.nThe staff were all extremely helpful with answering our random questionsu2026 which made us feel welcome.nIf you have kids and are pushing a pram, you will find the complete site easy to navigate as most of the site is fairly level.nI love the boardwalk which takes you high above the animals creating a different point of view.nBack to the designu2026 whoever decided on creating the covered areas should be commended. This provides a little shade or cover from the elements.nOur favourite site which we heading back to 6 times was the Baboon exhibit. There is a lot going on there with a couple of infants really testing the parents and stealing the show.nDefinitely worth the annual pass which is economically priced.nCheers for a great day out ud83dudc4d

What a great place in western Sydney for a family to visit. The set out of the zoo makes it easy to navigate without missing any exhibit. Staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The variety of animals is impressive. The site is relatively flat and there are no challenging hills to tackle. The park is divided up into geographic sections which showcase animals from different continents. The animals are exhibited in a close to natural environment without visible cages which creates a realistic experience. Our party ranged in age from 5 to 87 and a great time was had by all. Well done Sydney Zoo.

The West Sydney Zoo is great! Large variety of animals, lots of shaded area's and misting fans to keep you cool as you walk around... Cool water stations are everywhere to refill your personal water bottles. The walkways are great for strollers and wheelchairs... no stairs!!! The Bull Shark tank is amazing! And the Lions and Hyena's are gorgeous!! Yearly membership prices are great value.

Great new zoo in Western Sydney. Enclosures are very open and allow great visibility of all the animals. Unlike other zoos where the animals feel very far away. Sydney Zoo has managed to get a great balance of creating an exhibit that benefits the animals and also the customers. There is an open section of the zoo where the animals roam freely and can be interacted with by the public. With the zoo being new the facilities are all in good condition. Definitely worth checking out.

Had a great time taking the family out to Sydney Zoo. We've got ourselves an annual membership which helps with the revisits.nnThe zoo itself is kept relatively clean and there a wide variety of animals to see.nnA must for ask families with little ones as it isn't a huge park and can be done in a couple hours.nnParking isn't bad. Just need to pick your visiting times better.nnHighly recommended.

What a credit to owners, managers, keepers and anyone involved in creating this amazing haven for all the beautiful creatures great and small living within. Even my 77yo Mum made her way around freely and comfortably. We loved this fantastic Zoo, and can't wait to get back there! Food was good, pleasantly priced, and all areas were easily accessible even by wheelchair. Thank you for an incredible time.

We had a blast. Beautiful zoo where the animals felt so close! Layout was easy to follow and walking paths were wide and pretty flat in most areas. We loved being able to eat our lunch and watch the animals at the same time. They were all active. It was quite an enjoyable day. Well done Sydney Zoo!

What a great day out ! Staff are friendly and happy ..the zoo walkways are wide and accessible for everyone ..lots of resting spots to sit and observe the animals antics or have lunch ..shaded tables and big stone benches .there's was a quite a few misting areas along the walkways and at the entry to cool down ..well thought out ..free water filling stations for water bottles ! Eatery is large and spacious while we didn't eat there this time it was popular ..We brought our picnic with us! The zoo was clean and the grass and enclosures were well maintained ..We have a membership for the year and are excited to return over the coming months , and listen to the information from keepers about the various animals and their habits and life .nWell worth visiting ..book your day beforehand. masks are worn on entry and inside the shop and ordering food but can be removed once eating or walking around maintain distance

Our family loved it. Plenty of parking. Enclosures are spacious and we'll designed to give maximum viewing opportunity. Great selection of animals including animals I'd never seen in person before - such as Hyenas, African Wild Dogs and Cheetahs. The four male lions were in an active mood, chasing and playing with each by lunch time. Even the food was good and reasonably priced. Good burger and chips and plenty of seating. Will be going again for sure.

This zoo is amazing! I’ll point out all the things that make visiting this zoo a great experience -nIt’s all flat, no hills to walk up on a hot day.nThey have shaded seating everywhere.nThey have misters everywhere spraying a fine cool mist to cool you down on a hot day.nWell staffed with staff at the entry points to the indoor sections ensuring not too many people are in there so everyone can have a good look at the animals.nGood food options that are reasonably priced.nGood signage.nWell written facts about the animals that are not too lengthy.nClean, open and green animal ‘enclosures’.nGenerally clean.nWell laid out.nGreat selection of animals to see.nEasy and free parking.nnWill be back for sure! Very happy with our visit and cannot find any negatives about the venue.

Sydney Zoo is a brilliantly maintained one and I was pleasantly surprised at the animal variety there. The Lions in particular were a treat to watch and the viewing points in the zoo are really state of the art. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. There is a big cafe inside and massive ferries wheel as well. The restrooms are very clean and sanitizing stations can be found in every corner of the zoo. It's is great spot to visit with family and kids and it is sure to surprise the visitors...

A decent zoo with a good collection of animals from across the globe. Accessible pathway for prams and wheelchairs to all areas makes the experience enjoyable for families and elderly alike. Clean toilets are a plus alongside mist cooling functioning at multiple locations throughout the park. Multiple food options and a ferries wheel are also welcome addition. In summer it's best to go in morning as else most animals retreat to their cooler living areas when temperature rises. Plenty of free parking on site is good. Overall a good zoo to spend 3 - 4 hours with family.

The kids loved the animals especially the reptile area and the aquarium. It was amazing to see the animals hopping about freely (we crossed paths with a kangaroo)!nnThe walk is interspersed with 3 cafes, toilets, water refill stations and a play area. Lots of shaded areas with cooling systems for hot days. We used our Discover vouchers for our trip and really enjoyed ourselves.
