Al Maha Desert Resort and Spa

Great desert experience, luxurious and amazing service. At first I thought 5 days will be too much to stay there but honestly you don't get bored there with all the activities they have and the relaxing setting. Definitely would recommend!

My husband and I just returned home after staying at Al Maha for two nights. What an incredible hotel! Everything from the gorgeous suites to the common pool and spa area, to the incredible meals and activities, were just outstanding. Every staff person went above and beyond to welcome us and ensure we were having a positive experience. We travel a lot but Al Maha was by far, our most favorite place we have stayed. Thank you for such a memorable stay. We cannot wait to return!

Simply the best overall service I could imagine. Absolute privacy in your suite. They don't nickel and dime you with anything. Meal delivery and setup in the room is included as are the meals. Really good food, lovely activity options that they present upon arrival. They make it so calmingly easy to plan the days and are so accommodating in unexpected ways. We've been to a couple of resorts on our trip but this place has almost effortlessly outshined them all.

Room is very beautiful. It gives you authentic (and luxurious) bedouin experience. Private pool is big. And the way the villas are placed gives you enough privacy.nnService was outstanding. They met us from the car, led us to the waiting loung and gave us cold towel and welcome drinks. We didn't have to wait in line to check in. They thoroughly explained all the details, escorted us to our villa and showed us all the controls/things we need.nnThey were so generous and surprised me with a birthday cake and complimentary sherry wine!!!nnRoom service is fast as well!nnThank you Loraine and Stephen for your great service and for making our stay very pleasant!

Stellar resort! Completely catered to us to make this a beautiful and memorable experience for our 30th Anniversary. Total luxury and pampering throughout our stay. Exemplary spa and dining experience. We loved our private pool with the beautiful view. The camel ride to the sunset on the dunes was definitely a bucket list highlight and we highly recommend it. If you are looking for complete relaxation, stellar butler service, and an oasis of privacy surrounded by the breathtaking desert, this is for you. Highly recommend!!

Even though itu2019s been around since 1999, this property is the true hidden gem of Dubai. Thereu2019s nothing else like it, world over. Supreme property, excellent staff, maintained beyond belief. Youu2019ll be sure to encounter majestic gazelles all around this place. Apart from the actual hotel and all itu2019s wonderful activities and excursions, their restaurant is simply top notch. Props to the chef for perfecting everything on the menu. Overall, extremely relaxing and gorgeous resort. 5 stars all the way.

It's fantastic and really like absolutely nothing else: unique, special, one of a kind, heavenly. What I would like to emphasize personally: please be sure to take a pair of closed shoes / at least sport shoes with you. In order to enjoy the Nature Walk at 5:30 in the morning without any worries, it is absolutely necessary. While the Camel Trek is great, it's definitely not for everyone. My heart was particularly touched by: CATHERINE ♡, Yasuda, Tracy from the Restaurant, Winnie the Guest Service Agent and Michelle the Field Guide.

We loved our stay, activities are awesome and my wife loved the falconry. The breakfast at the room is lovely and beware of the beautiful birds and nature around, you will share with them :).

No words can describe the amazing experience my husband and I had at this desert resort! Everything from the service, the food, the Bedouin suite, the atmosphere, the views, the wildlife, and the activities were mind blowing wonderful! If you and your significant other are looking for a relaxing desert experience, this is for you! We stayed 3 nights and 4 days and each day was heavenly! Our guide was Pubudu who was friendly, knowledgeable and fun! I also want to commend Anjal from the Al Diwan Restaurant whose enthusiasm and attention made our dining experience amazing.

I've been there with my friends for a spa day and it was amazing. In the package you have access to the sauna and pool , 1 hour massage and 3 course meals , also water and coffe ,tea unlimited. I can say that the service was amazing and the location is the best if you just wanna go out from the city .Very peaceful place ,with lovley animals around . It worth the experience

Absolutely amazing stay from all angles: perfect staff, beautiful landscape for photo opps, delicious and generous food, and really fun/interesting desert activities. There were also Gazelles everywhere on the property and several ventured just outside our suite so we could get fairly close - very friendly but shy animals.nnThe drive-in is a bit challenging and weu2019d recommend asking the hotel to arrange a car, as taxis or even Ubers are likely to miss the entrance (itu2019s a small off-ramp from a very fast/busy highway).

Not sure what else I can add to all the great reviews. They are all true! Pay the extra charge for the dune rides!! That was our favorite excursion. It's unreal! Then I recommend the camel ride to see sunset and the falcon show to see the sunrise. The restaurant food was delicious and they even surprised my son with a chocolate birthday cake at dinner. We loved our driver from Al Maja. His father worked there for 15 years before passing away and then they offered the job to him. All the staff seemed really happy to be working there and they got along like a happy family.

We celebrated our 7 year Anniversary here and wowu2026it was so special! We went for two nights but wished we had booked for one more. Itu2019s so relaxing and peaceful. The staff are second to none and the food was heavenly! If youu2019re looking for the ultimate romantic spot with your partner where you have privacy and beautiful surroundingsu2026this is the place!

Awesome experience! Houses have classic style but are on a high quality level. Pool with a view onto the dessert was just fanatic. Also having wild deers running around the whole area. Activities were super fun and I highly recommend the sun-downer. There was a big menu which all was really tasty and high quality even got a whole vegan menu!

A perfect place for a relaxed destination. Peace and nature surround you here.
