Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel

It is a Lovely Hotel, I went to Argentina vs Mexico game and stayed at this hotel. It has direct access to a beach and a fan zone. The breakfast has a good variety. The only issue is the lobby blasts loud music

My friend and I we went to the beach and pool for just half day. And The staff at the pool cafe Aman ( from India) the young gentleman was warm and very hospitable. My offered amazing service.

Had a 5 night stay at the Sheraton, first time I have after many visits to Doha and not disappointed.nnThis was the first 5 star hotel in Doha, has been refurbished of course and enjoys a prominent position on the Corniche.nnHuge hotel with a number of high quality restaurants, and an excellent beach club and pool with great views across the bay.nnThe room is a good size with a seating area, huge bathroom and the best part of the view from the balcony across the entire bay (pictures attached).nnEvery tv channel available in multiple languages, all the sports and movie channels you could possibly want.nnThe staff are amazing, from arrival to checkout, highly recommend this hotel when visiting Doha.

FYI: My review is based on Beach Day Access only*. One of the best hotel Beaches in qatar but the service is VERY slow the team is extremely under-staffed (although they are very nice). And the beach toilets are extremely dirty (more like public toliets than 5-star Hotel Toilets).nnIf they fix the food & beverage service it would be the best hotel beach in town.nnSuggestion from a frequent visitor (over 9 years): If you allow swimming in sea after sunset you would keep the beach buzzing with visitors all week long.

During my stay in Grand Sheraton resort in Doha I had couple of great days with blessed moment, cheerful and welcomed all the time long.nnAt the last day and during breakfast we had received a small farewell celebration moment with Sheraton staff which added real value to my stay.nnThanks to all staff for their highly manner ethics and special thanks to Mr. Sadham and sir Yazuro for their nice complements and support to made our stay even better.

As a loyal Sheraton customer I have returned to Sheraton Grand Doha after almost 12 years. The iconic hotel very well located still great and the pub providing a great service till late night.nThe Indian restaurant is great with one of the best Indian foods I had. Views from the hotel could reach the city, the ocean and you also can see the aircrafts landing on the amazing Doha Airport. Top staff

Awesome rooms here with the best food served in Doha. Staff here are super friendly and always looking for an opportunity to help. Conference and business facilities available here are again a plus plus for any work related activities. Best of all, Sheraton is located at the heart of Doha, right at the waterfront.

It's 40 years old hotel but well maintained, cozy room with lovely sea view. We enjoyed their pool and jacuzzi. Clean beach and you able to see fishes swimming around you in the morning . Staff are very nice and helpful.

I am totally impressed and wowed in this Hotel. This Hotel was built in 1979 and just 1 year old younger than me. Very elegant and classy specially the lounge. The room was a mixed of classic and modern. Though so many guest checking in that time, what impressed me mostly was the way I was handled professionally and nicely. I would like to give a loud shout out to the pretty Ms Nikita for handling it professionally and well. For this reason, a 5u2b50 review is not enough. I will give a 7u2b50. Good job guys! Godbless.

Beautiful hotel with great convention facilities. A real gem in Doha right in the heart of the city. Maybe showing it age somewhat as built in the 80's but phenomenal food and service. Staff were simply amazing and so friendly. Staff was so welcoming and professional from the moment you enter the hotel till the minute you leave.

Lovely hotel with great views. I miss being able to open a window and staff not always able to help in a timely fashion. But everyone very friendly and trying hard to please the guests. The pool is pretty, but small. I missed a Hamam (they did not even know what that is). Location with direct access to city centre mall is good

One of the best hotels in Doha, although the rooms seems to be dated however it is still one of the best hotels here. The service is excellent!! from the valet staff to the receptionist and the rest of the people who works here, also there are variety of options for dining and the lobby lounge is open till 2AM which I believe is the only fine dining spot that is open till this time in Doha. The fitness center is dated, however what I liked here is that the fitness center is in a separate building so if you have a membership and not staying at the hotel you can have direct access without entering the hotel first. Overall I would recommend everyone to visit Sheraton Doha.

The room is great especially if you get a sea facing room it has a breath taking view but the food quality and the taste here is not what you would expect of a 5 star hotel. Food is over priced for the quality they serve. I would definitely not recommend having food in the hotel but to go out and have it. Hope this helps everyone make a good informed decision.I have added photos of the view from my room.

We stayed at this amazing hotel with excellent service. The receptionist Fatima was kind and very professional. Thai in charge of the housekeeping is kind and always willing to help. The rooms are perfect with a unique view. All the staff are friendly and always available. The pool area is large with many green areas and the water is chilled. The private beach makes the stay perfect. Comfort and elegance are in every detail. The breakfast is superb, full of every food and just perfect. The Chefs are kind and always ready. To visit absolutely.

Even a short stay (1 night), you will be comfortable with the ambience of the hotel and resort with the following observations we sought and felt during our stay.nn1. Cheerful and accommodating personnel from security, reception, housekeeping, restaurant staffs.n2. Beach and Poolside is clean and crystal clear which therefore you will be relaxed during swimming.n3. Room and Bed is very comfortable and relaxing with all the complimentary water, coffee and tea and you don't to call the room service if something is missing. If one item is missed, the room service is fast and reliable.n4. Food and drinks in restaurant for breakfast is in variety of selections and you will not only feel your in hotel but you will feel at home.nnHopefully we can book and check in again in your prestigious 5 star hotel.

A breath of fresh air to most places we have been. The outside pool service is great for food and drinks. This is a perfect place for unwinding and just taking the views. The beach at this resort is fantastic as well.nThe food and drinks were amazing, and we enjoyed a perfect and exceptional service from Gabriel. He was very friendly and took good care of us. We enjoyed sitting at the pool and servings of his signature cocktails.A very good experience.... Highly recommend it ud83dudc4d

Food was exceptionally nice. Server Gabriel was very professional, caring and helpful at all time. The view is stunning and weather here always amazing. I loved the music played so relaxing and calming. The sea just few meters from view thats really awesome.

Did I love this hotel or what! Everything was great, from the politeness and attentiveness of the waitstaff to the managers, quality of food at their restaurants (not to mention the generous portions everywhere, which got overwhelming sometimes for me personally), the beautiful room we got (deluxe with sea view - absolutely stunning views of the sea and corniche), and the gorgeous beach area. The pool area could use some improvements in terms of decor, but it's certainly large enough. I loved the fact that you get a giant ice box full of cold water bottles when you go to the beach or pool, and can order drinks and food right to your table should you choose to. They also have a lovely garden seating area for the pool cafe as well, so that's nice.nOh, and did I mention the gym? Do give it a visit and get a sweat sesh on if you stay at the hotel, cuz this gym is niiiiiiiice. Very well-equipped, quite large, all hygiene protocols being followed.nOverall a lovely experience. Would definitely recommend to everyone I know, and will come back for a staycation in the future.

The beach,the customer service..Everything was 5*
