JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha

This review is long overdue. Mr. Karim Othman & his colleagues always go above & beyond to make sure I’m comfortable. I previously stayed at this property for a month and everything was superb. And just came back to the city. After booking in with another new hotel in the city, St. Regis Marsa Arabia which was sadly underwhelming. I sat in the lobby for 2 hours trying to sort out my room, gave up and decided to book on the Bonvoy app back to JW & asked the other property to transfer me. JW may not be the newest hotel in the city, but what makes it stand out is the SERVICE. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy. They know hospitality. There are a lot of shiny new hotels in the city, but they are poorly staffed with people who don’t understand customer service. Along with Karim, Berkay, Yousif, Albert, and so many others at this hotel are true gems. They took the time to learn my preferences & took care of all my needs with a smile. That’s what it’s about! I know it’s consistent. Love the JW Doha.

DISAPPOINTMENT WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE /BOOKING SERVICE .nnELEV8 - we 5 people wanted to explore NEW year's eve in a good vibe and nice property -and got news about ELEVE8 and called customer service / the booking point to know more - she gave me the wrong information -100Qr per head -says its entry for per person to ELVE 8 .and send a confirmation message of POOL DECK-which not same offer at all !!!. In end, I called today, was not happy again with the answers with new news from the booking team -and finally got MR, Sachane -manager clarified me well about the subject - however, we had to lose the booking since the offer is different and prices beyond or plan.nnSUCH WRONG INFORMATION AND AN UNPROFESSIONAL APPROACH TO CUSTOMERS FROM THE BOOKING TEAM MADE THIS TROUBLE SITUATION - NOT HAPPY AT ALL! AND I NEVER EXPECTED SUCH TREATMENT OR ATTENTION FROM REPUTED PROPERTY. spoiled new year plan !!!

Everything was good herenFrom location to room sizesnOnly one thing- I get it’s a jw Marriott and not a normal Marriott but the hotel being three times the price of normal Marriot is little bit confusing

Amazing staff and stay.nnThe guys here go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience.nnWe were there with my 3 month old and they took care of us through out our stay.nnWe were given a beautiful room, even though we did have a few issues, the good has definitely took away the bad points.nnHighly recommend and we will definitely come back to this hotel again.

Excellent location connected to the Mall.nnReception and lobby not so appealing, Executive Rooms are spacious.

Hotel is located just next to the City Center mall on diplomatic district. Team is hospitable and kind. The lobby is large with enough space to wait for a car or a room or an assistance.nnPool is like a garden with air conditioning cabanas. Gym is modern, has everything for training.

Beautiful hotel with a beautiful view from the room. Special thanks to brother Sulaiman. He is so friendly and very helpful. He made out stay really pleasant and i feel that the group directors should consider promoting him .

The location is excellent. The hotel services and staff are very good. The pool are is also good. HOWEVER, the main thing in the hotel which are the rooms are not good at all. I stayed in an Executive Suite. It wasnu2019t good at all. There are huge columns in the suite which are really in your way whenever you want to move around. I donu2019t know why they designed this building this way! The room interior is very dull and lifeless. The lighting in the room is also very poor. At night, it gets really dark even if you turn all the lights on. I donu2019t think I will stay here unless they renovate the property.

I liked the ambience of the place. The customer service really good too. Would def go back.

The staff are very nice and friendly, the location is amazing as it is connected to the City center where all kind of shops are available. It's the best place for a family vacation they have multiple choices of rooms and apartments as well. The only point that is disturbing (for me) is that the bathrooms don't have water hose. Otherwise everything was perfect 🥰

We came for our anniversary, and they made it an amazing time. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and celebrated.nnThe breakfast is amazing, the staff are great, and the atmosphere is top notch. We highly recommend the hotel!

This is THE PLACE you need to stay at. Everyone here is amazing. The rooms are top notch, the location is amazing, and it is a beautiful property. Beyond that what makes this place the best in Doha is the service! Pull up to the hotel and Dinesh take care of you, check in with Chaima and Remy is on point, Bernadine makes sure you are taken care of, and James is always in the lobby to get anything you need taken care of. We stay here on business and everything is coordinated. Rooms are refreshed while we are out at meetings, the lounge is on point, the breakfast buffet helps you start your day out in the best way. If you don't stay here you will have to wonder what you are missing and if you do stay here you know there is nowhere better in Doha. This is a home away from home and a true gem!

Extremely clean and very well run establishment. All the staff are friendly and respectful. There's so much to see in the area and instead from the sprawling mall to the eating establishments and 14 screen cinema.

It was our first time attending the Iftar at JW Marriott. They held the event in their ballroom, which is visually appealing.nnThe food was pleasant enough and most servers were friendly. Being the establishment that it is, I think it could have been much better.nnThough I paid the same amount as others, some staff appeared to have a bias when serving the food. As an example, I opted for the dish of rice and lamb. As I observed how the person serving the dish served two nationals before me (by giving them good quality lamb meat), when it came to me, he purposefully gave me rice, so I requested lamb. Following this, the lamb fat, which he had removed from the meat and pushed to one side, was thrown on my plate.nnWe also weren't overly impressed by the desert selection. It has been far more enjoyable to attend other cheaper Iftars.nnAdditionally, I was surprised that no staff member addressed the children running around the ballroom and up on stage, shouting through the microphone. There was a young child who tripped over electrical wires on the stage whilst carrying a bottle in its mouth, but no one intervened or said a word!nnIn all not the most enjoyable Iftar.

I wish to express my thanks and gratitude to Ihssane and his unbelievably amazing customer service staff for making my 3 day stay absolutely wonderful. I thank you all from my heart and look forward to seeing you all again as soon as possible.

Its one of the best hotels for people coming to Doha for the first time, regularly for work or for anyone who wants to have the most convenient time in Doha. I have stayed at this hotel several times, back in 2013,2014, 2017 & now in 2022, & this place does a great job in maintaining & improving their quality. The rooms are amazing & it is connected to the mall & conference centers.

Very nice hotel,smart and hygienic. Staff are well trained and courteous. Food is 5* Suitable for business,solo and family(travellers). Very nice resort like swimming pool(heated). Towel provided. Lots of restaurants to choose from with variety of cuisine. Extra app on entry. Very professional Front of house managers Mr Ihssan and Mr Mohammed.All staff here are excellent.

I stayed 2 weeks at this hotel with full board and everything was exceptional. The food is very varied and super tasty. The pool is wonderful, with palm trees and a water bar. The gym is fully functional for a complete workout. Everything is extremely clean. The staff is always present and attentive to the wishes and needs of the guests. I also recommend this hotel for its excellent location.

Very good hotel. Especially if you are traveling with kids. 1BR suite with Executive lounge access we stayed in was so spacious and comfortable.

I had the helipad experience, if you could get over the price, you will enjoy every bit of it.nnThe food was top, the service was 5 star and the view was amazing.nnWe had the sunset view and the full moon watching over us at night.

Top class hotel with a nice facility. Rooms and Bathrooms are very well facilitated and spacious. Minibar is nice with all free coffee set-up. I do not even mention about the view. Front Desk and Concierge is nice and helpful. Special thanks to Ms. Senem Aktas, the Front Desk manager

Beautiful stay! The room was very spacious and clean. We got a high floor and so the view was great as well. The breakfast was really good and staffs were very helpful. Definitely worth the stay!

Daniele and Irene took good care of us for a tasty afternoon tea. The sweets were mostly excellent. The teas were interesting and presented in a very nice way. However, the service needs practice and the chef needs to learn that marmalade is not apricot jam and how to cook puff pastry. All the right ingredients, but needs polish and refinement to get 5* in the future.
