very friendly and informative service. The ambience is nice and with a nice view of creek.nHowever, this restaurant serves Persian cuisine and certain people (especially Indians) would find the food to be bland (less spciy).
First time to try the Iranian food. Very friendly staff Anis gave us excellent service and special mint tea and Iran desserts was impressive
Accidentally walk in. First time trying Persian cuisine. The young lady Christine recommended me their best seller....which come with huge complimentary freshly baked bread, raw salad, yoghurt and the main course definitely huge for one....but the experience was amazing more so everything were fresh, healthy and from the best ingredients. Including the sweets were amazing. Not sinfully filled with sugar rather rather sweet taste and tasted honey. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a pleasant experience. The restaurant is overlooking the Deira creek complimenting the nite. Enjoy.
Saw this restaurant in The Entertainer app. Since we love persian food we decided to try this place for a change. The staff were nice and attentive.nnHowever, the food wasn't so great compare to more affordable Persian restaurants we've been to. And I am so disappointed that one of their waiters used my Smile points in the entertainer app to repurchase the coupon I have just used for their restaurant just because he did not get the code.nnReally such a big disappointment. I could have use the 1000 smile points with something else. It is best not to go back to this restaurant. Go to Farsi Restaurant instead. You will be happier.
After ordering your food they will serve you fresh bread & yogurt with cucumber,nnFor starter we ordered E-Anar Salad, it wasn’t special as expected,, it was normal home made salad with pomegranate. 2/5nnFor main course I ordered beef koobideh it was tasty and well cooked. 4/5nnMy husband ordered Chelo Kеbab-E-Soltani, it was well cooked, but the taste was very mild 4/5nnThey take esaad discount card, and it’s better to reserve a table before going there..

Shabestan was recommended by an Iranian friend a couple of years ago before I got to try it Covid hit. Then last June Shabestan was awarded a Bib Gourmand by Michelin. So I had to go and try it🙂nnThey have a dinner meal for 4 The Shabestan Speciality Platter 798AED highly recommended. We were 5 people our waiter assured us that it is more than enough. The portion was perfect and the food was delicious. You get 3 different types of lamb kebabs, 1 chicken skewer, 1 fish and 1 Prawns skewer. Those Prawns were divine. Refillable: 3 types of rice, bread, salad with white cheese and yogurt. .nnYou have to (yes it is a must) try the Saffron ice cream at the end. The ice cream in the picture is the Faloodeh Bastani 56AED mixed with a scoop of Bastani Zaafroni. Our waiter suggested that I do that so I can try both. I personally liked the Bastani Zaafroni way more, it was so good that I ordered another scoop.nnShabestan also has another menu for 3 people I'd say average spend would be 250-300AED per person if you are 4, if you are 5 the bill won't be more than 250 per person without alcohol. The service is amazing, they have live music. We went at 19:30 there was no one there except one other table. We got a widow table looking the creek. It got very busy after 9PM like packed busy. So try to go early if you want a table with a window view🙂
The most amazing food! Its a must try for all those who love Persian food esp lamb kubidey kebabs and the fish Mahi. The hot bread from the oven is served with a lovely yoghurt and a salad which are on the house starters. Service was excellent and the portions are generous. Lovely view of the creek from the restaurant. Will definitely plan to go back again! Highly recommended however be prepared for a quiet dinner as restaurant is hardly busy!
Not the best Persians Restaurant in Dubai, but they serve a good food, excellent hospitality and within a nice area to walk. Worth the visit if you have time.
