ROKA is the creation of chef Rainer Becker, who also produced the Time Out Dubai Award-winning Zuma, and has locations in Mayfair, Aldwych, and Charlotte Street.
Dubai's restaurant, planned by the late Zaha Hadid and set to open in the ME Dubai in The Opus by Omniyat in Business Bay in early 2020, is sure to be one of the city's most promising new arrivals.
In the 7,437 sq ft location, there will be space for 175 diners. Norisan Muramatsu designed the interiors, which are described as having a "edgy warmth" and a "chic feel."
There will also be a wide terrace, with music provided by a resident DJ.

Best Business Lunch in Dubai!nnMy friends and I are a huge fan of the Business Lunch at ROKA! I came back for my birthday last Friday and once again we loved it!nnFood is delicious, presentation is excellent and staff are really friendly and accommodating. Thank you again!

Unforgettable Experience at this Japanese Restaurant ROKA.nnThe ambience and design is wonderful.nnWe went for a business lunch set menu, classic and premium ! It was a perfect selection for two and we shared all the 9 starters.nnMain courses Seabream was cooked perfectly and so deliciousnand Steak fillet was so tender and juicy, perfectly cooked.nnEverything was so delicious and the food was brought to the table so quick !

I simply love ROKA. This restaurant is one of the best Japanese restaurants in town. I love the location. I love the vibes. However, the restaurant was really hot which was annoying specially that the weather outside isnu2019t great anymore. Also, the music was too loud and we couldnu2019t hear each other. Regarding the food, the mushroom rice was super super delicious and Itu2019s a must have. The chicken wings were great and so was the sushi. The staff are cooperative and they moved us from the table we were seated at immediately when we informed them.

Absolutely amazing food! Customer service can be improved as Manager didnt visit our table to ask how is our experience but we see her visiting other tables. Our server on the other hand was very knowledgeable with the food. She recommended some dishes that were extremely bursting of flavors. Iu2019ll definitely be back u2764ufe0f

Tom at the bar was so friendly and genuine that I would come back to this place just to say hi to Tom again. The Japanese beer was amazing!nnFood is not served between 4 - 6 30 pm (kitchen is closed but bar is open) so I couldn't taste the food offered but great time. Love it!

Great food. The scallop was fantastic. Quick preparation. Great music. The service was the reason why itu2019s 4/5. We ordered Sake and had an extensive conversation about selecting the perfect one. We never got the Sake. I ordered green tea, and again it was forgotten :(

We went for a business lunch and sat outdoors. Lovely, casual atmosphere, friendly and prompt service, delicious food...nSpecial kudos to patissier, desserts were breathtaking.nIt can be one of the best business lunches in town.

Brunch at Roka was extremely good! Food quality (fish wise) tasted super good. The only observation was for the steak that was a little dry.nI was expecting something tendered and not having to use the sauce since that would replace the original flavor from the steak.nService was very courteous and friendly.

Beautiful ambience quality food, lovely variety even for us vegetarians and superb staff. Great music and choice of drinks. It's a perfect place to spend your time. Definitely going again.

As one would expect ROKA didn't disappoint. The place is light, bright, comfortable and inviting. But it's the food that excels... Every dish better than the one before - with the first itself being excellent! Highly recommended if you like your Japanese in a friendly, lively atmosphere.
