The venue is amazing!nHowever we went after a Saturday brunch and asked for the happy hour menu, which we were given.nWe expected to pay around 150 for 3 drinks and was shocked when it came to 275! The lady who gave us the menu forgot to tell us it is only valid on week days. The bar manager gave us a 20% discount. It was still expensive.nViews are nice.
I’m still kind of reeling from the experience and it’s so embarrassing I’m having trouble writing it. The food was fine and the view was amazing but I couldn’t even process those things because… the waiter was shocking. He seemed friendly in attitude, but made numerous comments about my weight?? Saying I wasn’t slim like other East Asians, probably ate too many burgers like an American, and then when I hadn’t even finished my plate of food, coming by and saying I eat too fast and don’t even stop and enjoy the food, which I think was also a thinly veiled reference to me being fat? Really hard to enjoy food after that. I mean not to mention he forgot our water and tea until we reminded him halfway through the meal.nnListen. I’m not skinny. But im not like… obese. I’ve also never once had a stranger comment on my weight to me. And even if I was extremely overweight, I don’t think a waiter in a restaurant should comment on it.nnFor the service alone it should have been 1 star, but somehow I still feel bad for the restaurant bc the food and ambience should and could have been wonderful. They gave us an amazing seat as we had requested because it was a celebration dinner gone wrong. Too bad we left with horrible tastes in our mouths - couldn’t leave fast enough.nnEdit: I just couldn’t get it out of my head. One star.
A Super rooftop bar to sit and enjoy the view.nWe had just some snacks and a drink. The food is very tasty 😋nThe waiter is helpful and polite.
I went here on a Tuesday night for the ladies night offer with my mum on her last night in Dubai. 200aed for some light bites and unlimited selected drinks. It was divine. Beautiful location and views. Delicious bites. My favourites were the bread and the arancinni. Classy ladies night with good vibes. Mum loved it and so did I. The service was impeccable from every member of the team. Highly recommend! Go and check it out for yourself.
Absolutely fantastic experience.nThe food was some of the best my Husband and I had tasted across the world. The staff were exceptional with their knowledge of the dishes which helped us to decide what to have. Gin and tonic’s were delightful and I now have a new favourite gin! The atmosphere was perfect. We Will be back for sure!nnTwo slight small areas that could be improved on were the service slipped once food order had finished and we were enjoying drinks but were struggling to get any attention to order.nnThe seats are very low to the table which makes the eating position somewhat uncomfortable and difficult (like a kiddie without a highchair) my husband is 6ft and mentioned they’re low. I’m 4ft 11 and actually looked for cushion for some height!nnOverall a really nice experience.

Booked for dinner a week in advance, had to reserve with a deposit of AED200 (100 per person).nnService was excellent, staff were great with recommendations and polite. Food was brought in a timely manner and each course was delicious. We opted for the three course meal, which was delicious. The dumplings were great, and dessert was excellent.nnViews of the Souq Madinat were amazing!
Brilliant experience with the most spectacular view of the souk madinat Jumeirah, finest service, and delicious taste of the cuisines❤nis definitely a place I would like to revisitnMost of all, our waitor of the night, Alex, was the most patient and friendly server I've met in a higher end restaurant. His thoughtfull service and assistance definitely made the experience even more pleasant.nThanks, Alex!
This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Dubai. Innovative food and exceptional service. Many come for the stunning views, but this place is so much more! Food is simply amazing.
Great food, great drinks and a fantastic view. Prices are reasonable with good fast service. Definitely worth a visit! Make sure you visit after 8pm to catch a view of the Burj Al Arab from the terrace outside. Still an amazing place. Have been here a few times over the year, definitely it must go.
One of the best restaurants in town. Ran by two high end British chefs and set in the iconic souk madinat with views over the souk and canals. Restaurant has outdoor terrace area, indoor, and a rooftop bar and terrace with views over the Burj Al Arab.nService is wonderful. They do a ladies night on Tuesdays with 3 free drinks for ladies, and there’s a set menu every night which is very reasonable (3 courses for 250 AED).nnPerfect for romantic dinner, a fine night out, or a venue to impress.
Ambience :nSmall , cozy restaurant on the upper floor. It has a small balcony as well but due to weather we sat inside. The tables are super small and very uncomfortable. There isn’t even enough space for ladies hand bag on the chair. The dimensions of the table and chairs are more of European cafe standards than what is the norm in this part of the world.n⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️nnFood:nNothing special. The menu is a bit confusing, it’s difficult to understand the dishes reading the menu. I believe that the art of simplicity is the most valued form of art and that applies to everything. Making things sophisticated when there is no need for it just reflects the lack of ability to create a clear simple picture.nThe portions are super small, and when trying to order we were told that the portions are tasting sizes as the restaurant was following a fine dining concept. In my opinion nothing about that restaurant was fine dining . Fine dining is not only about small portions of food but rather it should encompass an overall experience which was totally missing in this restaurant.nThe food was bland, there was no harmony among the flavors.nThe design of the plates were very well thought out though.nVery disappointed with the food .n⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️nnService:nService was good. Again if the restaurant considers itself as a fine dining then the service wasn’t up to that standards but otherwise it was okn⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️nnOverall:nNot impressive.

Loved the vegan tasting menu at Folly this weekend. Lovely views and my husband and I could order the food we wanted, some places make you have the same menu for the whole table but they were happy for us to have one vegan menu and one meat which was refreshing!nnService was fantastic but slowed down towards 9pm when it started to get busy so we did wait a while for our desserts but I'd still score 5 stars and will happily return.
Great location in the Madinat. Food is good, service is exceptional. Would recommend this place, definitely worth a visit ud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83cudf7eud83cudf7b
Awesome location and kind personal.nWe had the signature menu and would recommend it to everyone!nOur best dinner in Dubai so far!nWe will come back soon
Super rooftop for evening drinks, if you don't mind the heat. Lovely drink selection and super staff (especially Salaman). Great buzz off the place, and ideal after you've had dinner in one of the restaurants downstairs.
Fantastic meal! Staff were great and very informative regarding the menu. I look forward to revisiting and sitting on the beautiful terrace.
It is next to Meat Co inside Souq Madinat Jumeira
