About Etihad Museum

Etihad Museum is a vibrant 21st-century museum dedicated to educating tourists with the story of the UAE's founding. The 25,000-square-meter landmark is appropriately situated on the site where the UAE was established in 1971. The numerous pavilions house experience-driven exhibits, immersive programs, and education projects that investigate the chronology of events that resulted in the union of the Emirates in 1971, with a focus on the time between 1968 and 1974, through a special visitor journey. The programs also seek to teach tourists about the UAE's constitution, specifically the rights, privileges, and obligations that it bestows on its people. Finally, parking spaces have been given both outside and inside the Museum to make visits more convenient.

A museums is the collection and narratives of history and culture. We came here during Ramadan, very few people. Very fresh and peaceful visiting tour. Staffs are helpful and nice. The auditorium played several interviews of sheikhs, the funding fathers of UAE. I recommend to take time to explore the exhibition hall patiently, also the gift store has high quality T-shirt;)

One of the huge and beautiful museums of Dubai, depicting the founding leaders and the formation of union of UAE. It encasses a digitally brilliant display of uae's history and a detailed description of their leaders and achievements..Quite huge and clean in architecture..Parking is ample.. Restaurant is available by lake side..The staff was very friendly too..There was also a guided tour for the union house. The washrooms were also very well maintained..overall, a very good and informative place to spend your day..the ticket just costs 25 per adult and 20 dirhams in a group of plus 5..it was very less crowded even on weekends..

While the history of the UAE is relatively short, the museum does an excellent job at telling it. Beautifully designed, airy halls present visitors a multitude of interactive displays and well-produced short films. Highly recommended!

History of United Arab Emirates in pictures and video and a beautiful building. The structure of the building is like a manuscript. Please make sure you reach there before 7 pm because the ticket counter closes by then. The museum is closed by 8 pm but you can access the entrance hall and go around the garden and visit the Union Hall where the 7 leaders of the 7 Emirates signed the agreement to form UAE in 1971. Real Visionaries. Amazing country. Amazing progress.

After visiting the Shindagha museum, I went to the Etihad Museum. You will witness the union of all 7 Emirates to build a better future for their people. The history of union, will help you understand the culture, the changes, the discoveries and the people behind such an amazing dream. A dream of one nation, and one future.nnThe next visit after this would be the Future Museum. That would be the order to your visit.

Very unknown and, as for me, it is an important visit to make if you want to understand more about the foundation of the UAE and its history until today. Very helpful staff and very modern facilities. Don't miss it!

Little confusing to get around at first but once you start down the right path is incredibly interesting. Staff are friendly and the place is very nice. Would be 5 stars if it weren't for the confusing design.

it was a nice experience to see the old UAE. The museum is so spacious. In general, it's a combination of old & new, vintage meets modern. And it smells so nice!

Enlightening museum in a beautiful building. Very well curated history of the events leading up to the union and the development of the country since then. Lots of high tech interactive exhibits to display historical videos and artifacts. Definitely worth a visit. You will come away with a new appreciation for the founding sheikhs and the principles that the union was founded upon.

History is revisited at this Museum. All details on the formation of the Union from the Trucial States are available as audiovisual information. Highly recommended for students. Enough parking, washrooms are available as usual when you visit public places in Dubai. A place for information and enjoyment.

Amazing exterior elevation of the building. An architectural wonder to see. Dynamic fluid design makes it unique. Interior is amazing with nice lighting and finishes. This museum is unique in terms of the traditional museums we usually see. The museum is located next to the Union House that marks the place where the rulers of all the emirates came together and agreed to unite to form the UAE. And the history of formation of Uae and its leaders are well depicted here.nI found less artifacts when I visited 2 years ago. Hope they have filled with more by now.
