Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche

gorgeous hotel. located on the seafront from where you can easily reach some places to visit. really nice room with sea view and very clean . the grills chill restaurant is good. the restaurant near the reception is excellent, everything we ate was excellent. the breakfast is also very good and very assorted. the jazz and fizz venue on the 36th floor is also fantastic, where you can drink a cocktail and admire Abu Dhabi from above.a special compliment goes to all the really kind and helpful staff for any request or problem. really super all the people on the staff.ndefinitely great hotel and super staff so I recommend it to everyone. good keep it up!!

Legitimately the best restaurant around. The food here is exceptional. The menu is very rich and tasty to satisfy different tastes at very reasonable prices. The service here is next to non; the restaurants manager Mr. Rakesh is so friendly & always takes care to offer the best assistance ever. Great atmosphere; I cannot recommend this place enough; such a warm and welcoming environment!

Really great stay here at VERY reasonable rates. Staff were friendly and always happy to help. Pool and gym were great. Breakfast was amazing and a wide variety of hot / continental on offer. Everything we expected and a lot more. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed the stay here quite a bit! The breakfast was fantastic (though when we were there it was difficult get salt, as table shakers were all empty it seemed). The room was ok, but not excellent. Where I was supposed to have a fridge I only had a water stained cabinet. I asked, and they brought me a fridge, but the reason I had to ask was due to “COVID” they told me. The valets were nice, housekeepers good, and what a fantastic members welcome drink cocktail with a lovely view. So it seemed the room not quite up to 5 star, but the rest was.

We first went here on my brother's birthday. We were here when they were still renovating their executive lounge. We choose here when we have to attend events nearby. On our parent's wedding anniversary, this lovely place was still our first choice.nnWe call Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche our second home. All of their staff are lovely people. Even when we look like we just woke up (it's definitely a long way from home), they are still the nicest, most professional people you could meet.

Stayed at Sofitel twice. All the staffs are really hospitable and always ready to help. Specially had a good experience with Islam at the reception. Rooms are good with a new corniche view. They can improve their breakfast as it is getting repeated or less Indian food option. Nevertheless it is always a good exp with Sofitel .

We have had a pleasant stay at Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche. The service has been good and in the reception we met with Andrei, who treated us very professional, rapid and friendly. We give our best recommendations for this hotel. Breakfast was amazing, fitness area and pool was excellent. Chill & Grill restaurant was good. The concierge service was very helpful and assisted when we had lost a mobile phone in a taxicab. They also assisted with good advices and support regarding attractions and PCR test. The staff at this hotel really put all effort into guest satisfaction! Continue the great and good job!

The best hotel so far. The staffs are accommodating specially Mr. Islam the receptionist, with great service. Their room also is clean, amazing view and as what they are known for, being luxurious. Highly recommended for best experience with reasonable price.

Quality u201cSeafood Nightu201d Buffet ExperiencenWe visited this restaurant for Seafood Night back in 10th June 2022, it was our first time to visit Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche, Corniche Restaurant & the overall experience was amazing!nAs usual, we called few days in advance to book for a table for 2 persons & was informed by the hotel telephone operator that the Seafood Night will be move to Corniche Restaurant.nWhen we arrived Corniche Restaurant, we were greeted friendly by the hostess which then brought as around all the buffet section to explain all the food & service included in the buffet before we were seated. They have a huge grill seafood section with lots of fresh seafood display like a mini fish market which you may order then the waiter will deliver to your table. The chill seafood & salad section has wide variety of shellfish & sushi to start.nWhat amaze us is the seafood night buffet has lots of variety of main dishes to explore & most of the dishes taste absolutely delicious. We try nearly every single items from the buffet however we did not get a chance to have pile up plate as the waiter team did an amazing job in having your dirty plate clear right away when needed. Furthermore, the waiter also make sure they appear right away whenever we need to order another drinks, amazing job done as they really make sure you are taken care. A manager also pass by to ask for your feedback about their service & food where you can see it is a genuine gesture for their restaurant improvement & not like some other hotel just do it because of their Stand Operating Procedure requested by management.nWe highly recommend Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche, Corniche Restaurant for Quality u201cSeafood Nightu201d Buffet Experience. First and foremost, I'd like to point out that the staff was very pleasant and helpful. We received a free upgrade from a city view to a sea view. And that view was really good.nThe restaurant was also pretty good! Breakfast buffet was very varied and tasty.nnBut the room? Honestly, it was very disappointing for a 5 star hotel.nThe thing that struck me the most was the smell. It was rancid. Was it the carpet? The poor airflow? No idea... But you can smell the old, and the rest of the room shows. Some drawers were broken, the paint on the wall was crackled, there were some faint noises at night that were distracting (AC maybe?), there was a media hub device with cut cables? The bathroom was also missing a bidet spray.nnThe fact that the room looks old isn't necessarily an issue (although I personally hate it), but it just looked pretty decrepit for a 5 star.

All was good during my 3-day stay. Staffs are very nice especially Ranee of the housekeeping. Pool was closed for 2 days but it was fine since we can use the residential pool. I just wish they start refurbishing the rooms because you can see the oldness in the room. But it was a perfect stay nevertheless. Thank you and I will come back again. Hope to get a free upgrade again. ud83dude0a

Great property, amazing suite. Good amenities and sea-view rooms were really super! Room service wasn't good though. But apart from that I had a very comfortable stay. We even hosted a conference in their ballroom, the experience of which was decent too. Loved the entire experience

Hotel is very nice. But buffet restaurant is not worthy the price. Not much choices. Many hotels have much better live-stations and sweet/ fruit sectionsnn1 year later 3/2021nThe good : service was excellent and Very helpful. Seating and the place are very nicenThe bad: Seafood theme on Thursdays. Not worth the price at all. 2 stars is too much for it. Very limited selections. Food was not hot , just warm. Baked fish was chewy. The lobster they have is a " new born" lobster, so small that you feel bad when you eats it thinking you are eating a baby lobster. Shrimp was the small type . Few mussels available in the appetizer section that you have to look or ask for one.nI highly don't recommend it.
