We had a tour for this museums. There were 30 ladies in the group. We visited only two houses because of time constraint, but nevertheless it was very informative. There are 4 houses that was changed into museum. The company tells us the story of how qatar started oil exploration and the working condition for the staffs. This house is where the staffs come once a month to collect their pay and see their families. We also visited Radwani’s house which show how the houses changed from 1930s until now. Quite informative. Will definitely see the other museums on another day. The museum staffs were helpful and provide good insights during the tour.
Interesting, educational, inspirational. Visit all 4 houses, as the content and message are different and all precious.nStaff on all sites is kind and helpful.
Different historic homes are wonderful. The location is convenient and close to a metro stop. Old 1920s houses are visible from this museum.
There are four houses of Qatari families located in the Mushreib downtown, turned to the museums with thematic galleries. House of Bin Jelmood, Mohammed bin Jassim house, Company house and Radwani house. By visiting these houses you will learn about history of Doha and development of oil industry and its impact on the economic growth of the country. This complex is totally free of charge. 5 min walking distance to Souq Waqif.

Great museums with very insightful movies and explanations. The Company House is my personal favorite, gives you a very nice backstory about the history of this beautiful country
I did not realise the museum is free to attend! Very thought provoking, my favourite house was Bin Jelmood because they go into depth about slavery in Qatar. Highly recommend if you want to learn about Qatari history, from pearl diving to the history of Musheirab and much more!
Good place to spent time with your friends/family for no longer than 2/3hours with Qatar ancient history.
Really Amazing Place For Gain Experience And Knowledge Of Qatar Oil / Energy Sector.
This City has some very nice Museums that show the evolution of Qatari culture to a Modern and changing city and DemographicsnFree of entry
An amazing experience, must visit all 4 houses in the museum.nA well portrayal of the ancient and modern Qatar.
I went here two years ago and recently went here few weeks ago. Personally, on my most recent visit i wasn't abke to visit all of the 4 museums, for I did not have not enough time. If you want to visit all the museums, do make sure you have a lot of times.nnA good place to come to with your family/kids. In my opinion, the museum about oil and gas history was my most favorite. This is because it also has a theater you could watch in and more things that your child can interact with.nnI won't be coming here anytime soon, but it is a good place!nnOverall, I totally recommend! Interesting experience!!
The sign board to the museum's and clarity of which house is where is not easy to find. All good individual houses were good but there too way finding was little tricky. House of slavery was the best. But it is good to know which is biggest and how much time is required or else you cannot estimate how to plan your time in each
It's a must visit if are in Doha. Great facilities and staff explained all pleasantly
Very nice , the entrance is free the museum was very organized and nice very educational and simple , the presentation of the events was amazing so as the small movies they played loved it so much . You could even add your own story to the museum. Learned a lot and and enjoyed every bit of it . Costumer services is very friendly and helpful 100% would recommend to anyone .
Good place if you want to know more about the life of Qatar before the past decades. This museum consists of 3 houses - with 3 different focuses. The history of transforming this place after discovering the oil is presented well.
This place takes you on a journey towards Qatar's Development through their inspiring History!
4 museum houses located in the city center, msheireb downtown that explains a lot of Qatar’s history and culture! amazing trip, it’s the real Qatari’s families houses!! it shows the slavery story in old times and several other stories like oil extraction and technology and many amazing projects. kids will love the place and adults as well. the interior is very modern, the place is clean, there is also a library full of books and magazines related to the museums. there is a very nice gift shop as well 😍.nthe place really takes your heart ❤️.nthe transportation to reach there is various, you can either go with the mini metro or bus or car, which is amazing. you. don’t have to worry about the parkings👍🏽.ngive it a try it’s worth it.
Will get to see the recreation of traditional house of Qatar, history of qatar, how they survived and made this nation so beautiful.
The first house of this exhibition is about slavery, both in a historical perspective and a bit in modern days. Let me tell you that it's the most worthless, unenjoyable hypocritical set I've ever seen. After describing the horrors of slavery in detail, the have the nerve to talk about the positive aspects of slavery in the arab world and bring up examples like the closeness of slaves to their owners' families. Should've leave the topic untouched if they're not going to admit it's simply universally bad.
Musheireb is a beautiful area with remarkable architecture
The city with the soul,it is having a beautiful scenery which attracts and a desire to visit it unconditionally.
