Wow. My husband and I have stayed at a lot of hotels, including the Waldorf Astoria property in Key West, but none compared to the Waldorf Astoria in Amsterdam. While the property is gorgeous, well located, and beautifully decorated, the most stand out thing about this property is the service. Their staff is unmatched. The concierge contacts you before your stay to help you plan your trip, answering all your questions before you even check in. Once you are there, the staff treat you like royalties. Nick from room service was especially friendly, answering all my husband’s millions of questions with no complaints. The spa here is beautiful and the service is perfect. I felt all my stress completely gone after our spa treatment. Oh and don’t get us started on breakfast. My husband is a night owl and will not get up for any hotel breakfast… except for this one. The breakfast served here is so delicious and once again, the service is *chef’s kiss*. Our waiter remembered us from the day before and even made us a special breakfast the second day! I wish I remembered his name because he was amazing. It honestly was the best stay of our lives. My husband even left something at the hotel and they contacted us so quickly and promptly for us to be reunited with the item! Our only complaint is that we wished we had stayed longer!!!
Wow! I’ve stayed at lots of 5 star resorts. This one throws everyone out of the water with their attention to detail and service. The personal welcome when you check in made you feel like family. Unique to this location, you are offered a particular scent to apply for your room and it really adds to the atmosphere. As a Hilton Diamond member, I was offered the Taste of Waldorf breakfast which is way better than any buffet, first they serve fresh baked pastries personally on a multi-tiered serving tray. Next, you choose a main hot dish, and all juices and coffee was included. I enjoyed a cappuccino and fresh squeezed orange juice. I was also upgraded 3 tiers in a room upgrade for being a Diamond member, the room was a King Premier. The bathroom featured heated floors, a separate soaking tub and very nice full bottles of premium shampoo, conditioner and bath wash. I was also greeted to a welcome dessert from the chef in my room which was delicious! I will definitely plan to come back next year and stay more than 1 night.
Anything I can say about this place is too little. It’s basically a mini palace from the past. The vault was so nice to experience, they had the old bank lockers still attached. The bar tender was so knowledgeable. The pastry chef was amazing, the mini chocolates and the in room treat was scrumptious. The breakfast was a great start to the morning. Also, the location was great. I would highly recommend this luxurious hotel.
Loved the experience. Right from the welcome to the nice touches on personalization of the services. The people are very friendly and do take care to see that you enjoy every minute of your stay. I would definitely want to go there again.nThe hotel is actually 6 houses that have been updated and movies to convert into a hotel. So the experience is unique. Please they have their own bees, so if you do get the chance try their honey, it's an experience by itself
This is the best hotel in Amsterdam - and quite possibly one of the best owned by Hilton. The building offers an extremely tranquil feel, which is a marked difference from the buzzing Amsterdam. The second you walk in, you are greeted by very welcoming and warm staff.nnI didnu2019t stay at the hotel (I actually didnu2019t know there was a Waldorf Astoria in Amsterdam ud83dude02), I used the spa and peacock alley. The very kind front desk staff showed me around and I was particularly impressed by the bar which is remodeled from the old banku2019s vault downstairs. The building has prestigious history which makes the experience so much more special.nnEvery person I met was simply wonderful- professional and great with what they do. A special thank you for Andrea from the Vault bar for looking after me. She makes amazing cocktails!nnI know where Iu2019ll be staying next time I am in Amsterdam!

Well we know that we can never go wrong with Waldorf but this place still impressed us in every single aspect. Their lovely staff were extremely nice and helpful, and made our stay exceptionally comfortable. We had an early morning flight and had to check out by 5AM in the morning, and they prepared a box of freshly baked croissants for us. Thank you Waldorf Astoria! Weu2019ll definitely come back!
This hotel fulfills the brand promise of the Waldorf-Astoria. Beautiful property, crisp and polite service and well appointed rooms. The breakfast is over the top as is the tea service so donu2019t miss them. I have two more stays booked here this year and look forward to returning.

We came here for breakfast, the hotel allowed us to make an unusual reservation. Sitting in the Peacock Alley, we enjoyed a continental breakfast named the 'Taste of Waldorf'. Take a look at the photos. Wonderful food, truly exceptional service and beautiful surroundings. Wow! Unforgettably amazing.
World class 5 star service. Booked a treatment at the Guerlain spa and this is by far the best spa treatment weu2019ve had in Amsterdam. The staff went above and beyond to get us a booking for high tea and that was such a delight. A truly gastronomic experience.
a 6 star hotel! Really felt like home. The breakfast is so perfect. The concierge team and the front men are all very caring and friendly, they even help vacuum your valet car!! Spectacular hotel, one of the best in this planetud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83dudc4d
We spent 3 lovely nights here in a canal view suite. It was a very homey place. Everything was comfortable and the staff are all very friendly. The restaurants and bars are great. The rooms are delightful. The location simply can't be beat.nnThe only minor issue I noticed is that there are about 1-2 tables too few in both the breakfast and the tea room. Breakfast could sometimes be crowded and if you eat at the restaurant around tea time you get a table so tiny you can barely fit your meal on it.nnIt is not cheap, but I enjoyed it
The location is excellent. The staff are very nice but relatively inexperienced and come off as somewhat superficial. For the price, it was just not where it needed to be. I would look at one of the other top hotels in Amsterdam. Expected a better experience for the price.
One of the best, if not the best Waldorf property we have ever stayed at. The staff are all 10's. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are large and well maintained. The food for breakfast is very good and there is a lot of food for the price. We had room service as well and the waiter was great. The front desk staff helped us several times, we were always greeted by name and they went out of their way to make us feel at home. I would certainly go back to this hotel. FYI - the Fitness center is very good, better than most.
I would stay here again! Our first time at a Waldorf. The bed was comfortable and not too soft (a big problem I have with hotel beds), and our room was very spacious. Service was what youu2019d expect from a 5-star hotel, which is very good. Get a room with a canal view!!
We only visited the bar, and it was such an amazing experience.nThe Italian guys were very nice and helpful with the choice of the cocktails, the atmosphere was super cozy. We loved the fact that it's an intimate spot, far from the chaos of the area. We will definitely come back!
Hello!nnHavenu2019t heard back from you. Itu2019s been more than 24 hours. Please release the hold on my credit card of $2,941 that you charged incorrectly.nnI will be contacting upper management and will be leaving a nasty review if this is not taken care of immediately.nnTheft has occurred because you have charged me more than what I have agreed to pay for. I do not want to involve the police, but will do so if not handled.nnI am sure you do not charge other guests at the hotel an extra night more than they paid for. And I have never have been treated with such disrespect and humiliation before in the world. I travel to 5 star luxury hotels and have a great repertoire with them.nnI await your reply with optimism.nn-Kunal KumarnnSent from my iPhone
Fantastic hotel. Great location. A+
This hotel is outstanding. Amazing views and fantastic location. Staff are very helpful. A great choice for an Amsterdam stay.
One of the few places in Amsterdam and the Netherlands where the service is high quality. ud83dudc4cud83cudffcnSublime, warm and cozy atmosphere.
Great attention to detail and fantastic service. Would stay again.
We only visited the hotel for lunch at Spectrum Restaurant but it gave us a really nice Overall experience about the hotel and brand Waldorf Astoria. Excellent service from the beginning until the end. The restaurant was extraordinary and they meet our wishes. Overall, after this nice experience we will consider to stay in this hotel when we visit Amsterdam again in the future.
Just one of the best hotels I have ever visited on a top location in Amsterdam. A great choice for a short getaway.nnThe hotel was clean, the receipt was very friendly and correct, the building beautiful and stylish, great rooms. All is breathing hospitality.nnA great experience, we will absolutely come back
The Waldorf Astoria in Amsterdam was hands down the best hotel experience we have ever encountered. Every single staff member was courteous, professional, and helpful. The concierge staff went above and beyond to help us navigate Dutch covid testing requirements and arrangements for testing, plus helped with museum and tour tickets. The hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurants was delicious and the waitstaff was attentive. We loved our stay!
