Very fascinating museum. If you have a job in a medical background like doctor of pharmacist: you are not going to learn a lot of new things. The information of the museum is very basic biology. Nevertheless: really interesting seeing REAL bodies and parts of bodies of REAL humans. Also loved that they added doing a full body scan at the end.
I think this place was wonderful and fascinating. I want to go into the medical field relating to death so I think this was very intriguing. Lots of diagrams and visualizations with appropriate descriptions. Would love to come back again!
Very, very good experience. This is a wonderful exhibition of plasticized human bodies and body parts. I found it fascinating. You can look at the bodies from multiple angles. The text with each exhibit is very interesting and in both English and Dutch. The staff at the entrance were very friendly. This is well worth the money.
We had a lot of fun here and were there quite a while. People who claim it's too short are rushing through the exhibit without reading anything. Really unique concept and displays but very informative in terms of the science. Entrance staff were really friendly and kind. The body scan at the end was interesting and somewhat motivating.
Really nice museum. It was very well organized and very interesting. Also the interactive activities (such as blood pressure measurement and body score calculation) were a nice addition to the exhibition.
Just not worth it. If you been in biology class then you wont see anything new or worth seeing. Everything is pretty much known by almost everyone or quick google can give you even more information about those topics in museum: happiness, sadness, stress, living a long live
Body Worlds Amsterdam was an amazing experience. Wonderful exhibits of the human body and great information about how the body works. It explains how important it is to take care of our bodies. Exhibits also shows how healthy organs look as opposed to what unhealthy organs looks like.
It was quite busy as we left but we got in straight away. It's a very interesting place. Each exhibit has detailed information too so you learn a lot.
This was my second visit, as my daughter wanted to see it. I remember it bigger and more impressive. It was okay, some really cool plastinated bodies and parts, but it felt somehow limited and sobered, as if many of the items I had seen before were no longer there. Many good explanations, tho, in both Dutch and English. Don't pay the full price; it is not worth it. We used a discount we found online.
Would highly recommend. A little strange, but so interesting. Amazing work. 100% worth a visit
Some years ago part of the Body Worlds exhibition also travelled to Bucharest and I loved discovering it. Learning about the permanent exhibition in Amsterdam I was eager to see it. The exhibition is super informative, although not as extensive as I had imagined. Note that the lockers at the entry are not free - you have to insert 2 euros in order to use the locker, but you won't get your money back. The ticket price is high enough so lockers should be free. This is the only place where I have encountered this procedure and I do not find it ok at all.
I found the exhibition fairly superficial (ironically) - it all felt like a high school biology class without any more profound insights whatsoever.nI also didn't see much of a connection between 'happiness' and the superficial motivational quotes by the stairs almost felt satirical.nNot worth the money.
I can only recommend this museum, it was like a new world to us. A lot of Highlight, unique presentations and details. It had a good impact on us and it brings you to think about life and all the happenings around you.nnAnd Iu2019ve to say that the body world team has been very helpful and friendly to us, so that they even revalidate our ticket, cause of our delayed train.nnThank you so much again and hope to see you soon. ud83dude18

Cleverly laid out and simply explained, this took us through the whole body. Fascinating detail and information, sensitively presented. I particularly loved all the little mindfulness based quotes around the museum. Thoroughly recommended - and do allow an hour and a half to take it all in.
I have visited many exhibitions of body worlds in different countries and can say that this one is very nicely setup. We love the signs in the staircases and how interactive elements were incorporated. I will absolutely go again
