JW Marriott Hotel Mexico City Santa Fe

Very disappointed with Marriott. Hotel was very nice, but someone on staff went through my bag and stole $140 USD. We only stayed a single night and were out while someone came in for a turndown service, went through my bags and stole the cash.nHotel had me fill out a form and promised to follow up within days, but it's been almost two months of me reaching out and getting no response. Super disappointing that this could happen in the first place and even more so that there's no resolution.

Best hotel for the money in the CDMX. Sure there are more expensive hotels but this one is in the perfect location, the staff is awesome, the rooms and beds are so comfy. The staff treats us like royalty.nnThe breakfast bar at Xanat is amazing. Best fruit selection of any breakfast buffet I have ever eaten, probably 20 different fruits and berries. The baking is top notch. It's expensive but worth it.

The JW Marriot became my choice when traveling to CDMX.nRooms: the updated rooms post pandemic are really modern, elegant and comfortable, with everything you need to relax and to work.nnStaff: the staff has always been one of their main strengths. Very attentive, helpful and friendly.nnRestaurants: both the bar and the Xanat are great. I had so far plenty of breakfast, lunch, snacks and drink with colleagues, business partners and friends and both the food quality and the atmosphere are good.nnLocation: one of the best if you need to move around walking in Polanco or if you need to reach different areas of the city.

Great hotel near a lot of attractions (near everything in Chapultepec park, not historic district) close to a bus stop but not metro. Super clean, great staff. Gym is very small.nnOn-site restaurant is expensive but not very good.

Great location in Polanco. A short walk from sights such as the museum of anthropology as well as several good restaurants in the vicinity. Stayed at the hotel while in town for business, but managed to do a quick tour of the city using the hop on-off bus, which stops just behind the hotel. It goes without saying that this is a very nice hotel with great facilities including a nice pool and exercise room.

Very clean, spacious and well appointed rooms. Lovely bathrooms with all the amenities (toothpaste, mouthwash, razor etc). Very powerful shower. Robe and slippers provided. Well stocked minibar. Gym is great (cardio and weights) with a small core workout area by the pool. Lobby bar is a bit sterile but fine. Breakfast is overpriced standard hotel buffet.

5 star hotel, impeccable service. Prices extremely reasonable. Safe area, great for walking and people watching. Location on the edge of Polanco and near Auditorio is perfect. Nice pool area, some of the best views around.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! Amazing location, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast/ lunch off the bonvoy menu, and newly renovated rooms. Iu2019ll be staying here again!

Beautiful hotel, very clean and smells amazing. Staff are lovely and will go above and beyond. They have a great gym with a range of machines and 2 types of pools. They have a lobby bar, which serves some food. I only had drinks there and they were nice and strong. They have a live dj on certain evenings. Lots of great restaurants around the area too.

One of the best Marriot i stayed, very well maintained and clean. Not a great fan of the restaurant in the hotel.. great neighborhood.. great for business..5 star for the view from room against the giant flag and downtown and mountainsu2026ud83dudc4dnnI didnu2019t give 5 star because the cleaning crew was careless to leave an opened jar of nuts/candy on my table, probably from some other room, coz i know I havenu2019t touched the jar of nuts as i am allergic.

More of a business hotel, but great location and friendly staff. Lots of great restaurant choices in nearby Polanco neighborhood, very pleasant, walkable neighborhood

Great hotel and very, very expensive. Unfortunately at 2 am I got woke up by the noise of someone using a hammer. After few minutes there was a second hammer and was forced to ring the room service. The response was that u201cnobody reported anythingu201d which to say the least was unprofessional. They promised to check and hammering noise stopped 1 minute later. Cannot believe this hotel would allow night work without proper method statement and supervision. No apologies, nothing. Apparently they donu2019t need to care much. They hit you with too many videos about their cleaning standard which may be important in MXC.

Think the hotel had a great hit with Covid, some areas were closed, like the lounge which they told me that it was under repair. I did notice that out of the 4 elevators, only 2 were working.nnThe hot Jacuzzi tab that was adjacent to the pool, was closed and covered. The pool was still operative with the deep blue color you see from the upper floors. The gallery at the entrance of the building was still operating with some painting that I had seen before, however they had new curious druid sculptures.nnRooms were good and in excellent conditions as well as the amenities.nnThere was an excellent french restaurant Lu2019u00eele that closed, also the lobby was not that crowded, which felt an empty ambience.

My wife & I stayed here from 9/1-9/6. All of the staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was quiet,spacious and LOVED the bed. Close to all the action that brings people to Mexico City. A HUGE THANK YOU especially to Andrea,Gabriel,Sergio,Alberto Soto, Carlos,Daniel and Margarita. Your ability to offer EXCELLENT service should not go unnoticed. Will definitely be coming back.
