Pros:nGood location which you reach by car or on foot from anywhere in Cairo.nBigger cinema theatre than the ones they used in Odeon.nMore importantly, the films they select for viewing are very unique and you won't find them anywhere else across the country.nCons:nFree seating, you can book your ticket days ahead and go inside to find yourself setting wherever it's empty.nSeats are quite uncomfortable, probably because the place itself needs some work.nNot well air-conditioned, which is a bit of a problem if your nose is as active as a dog's.nIf you're going inside, you won't need airplane mode because you will lose cellular signal.nnOverall, it's a nice place for film lovers, not a place for dates, neither a place for families, if you disregard the cons you will have a beautiful experience.

This place is a gem. It plays movies that aren’t normally in theatres in Egypt. 100% recommend. For foreigners - take the metro to Oraby; it is a few streets away. 30 mins total from Maadi.

It’s an old but renovated cinema with the latest movies. The lounge area is nice and the way how they prepare popcorn is like the old times. Located in downtown, near historical places I think you will enjoy the experience.

5 if only it had comfy chairs, but really nice with everything else.nEdit.. Kareem 2 has comfy chairs, which just made my day when I experienced it. 5 out of 5, but please increase your variety of movies and keep up with the other cinemas.nEdit.. Both halls ( Kareem 1 and 2) has tremendous comfortable chairs but do not set on the last line of chairs; it's the only line of uncomfortable chairs.

Very old cinema that definitely needs an upgrade. The seats are horrendous and extremely dirty. The sound quality is like it used to be in 1990s. The picture quality is also not the best. While I was there, the movie stopped in between never to come back again. The staff apologized but it was the final 10 minutes of the movie so their apologies did very little to compensate what everyone missed.nHowever the only good thing about the place is the quality of content that it exhibit. The movies that are shown are generally nice and handpicked.nnIf it gets some renovation/upgradation, this has a lot of potential to be a much better place than it is right now.

The best cinema I've been to. Well organized, prestigious staff, chill and always unique with their movies choices.

The main Cinema Theatre is a excellent and the cinema offers a wide range of movies not just the Blockbusters , but also other different cinema , just don't go to the rear theaters they are tiny and not worth it .

I liked the old place better but what can we do. At least we have a venue for non commercial movies.
