Here at Mex Zone, Alexandria, and specifically in this historic and old edifice whose foundation dated back to the eighteenth century A.D and presently Known as Seagull Restaurant Napoleon Bonaparte lived in this spot after had ordered his troops to land by night on July 2 He mobilized his warship and military forces under the leadership of his officers and generals (Kleber, Bon and Minou) and a military harbour was constructed bearing the name of the “French harbour” and its name is still existing up till now. Napoleon Bonaparte lived in this perpetual sport to plan for his conquests and his successive triumphs, No wonder! In this spot the water of the elernal Nile mixes with the water of the Mediterranean Sea forming a unique mixture where rare kinds of settled and seasonal, immigrant, delicious and tasty fishes are attracted. It is our turn and with our long experience in this field, fresh fish dishes are always served … from the sea up to the table In addition to the private fishing fleet of Seagull

Such an amazing place with a great service. Highly recommend and special thanks for amazing service to captain Ahmed Mahdy and a team. They gave us such an amazing service with their kindness and professionalism. I highly recommended to ask for Ahmed Mahdy if you want to have same experience. Food was so delicious, it was served fast and our order came better than our expectations.Also prices is very good. When we visit Egypt again, without doubts, we will come back to this place again!!!

This is such an amazing place! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is so unique with amazing views of the sea. The place has a lot of character. They have lots of antiques, as well as some wild animals (deer, monkeys, parrots, pelicans, etc), so it's a pretty unique place. Not your average seafood place 😂. Totally recommend.

Such an amazing place with a wonderful view. Being there on the shore taking a delicious sea food gives me a fantastic feeling of a proud Alexandrian who has the world to enjoy.nStaff is extremely nice and friendly.nYou can select your favorite type of sea food and various types of fishes and ordered them the way you want.nMr Asaad is the master there whom I want to thank for being the guy putting everything into order.

We went there for launchnnA good parking area is availablenThe entry is nice,, animals are available for kids entertainment … historical machines are also decorating the place.nnA huge dining hall is present,, perfect for big gatheringsnnYou pick your favorite fish as any fish restaurant and they will cook it for younnThe service is fast. Salads are special. Bread is freshly baked and main dish was really tastynnI liked the sea food soup.nnAfter launch go and get ur tea or dessert on the seaside areannMany kid’s activities are presentnAvoid getting so close to beach or u will be wet.nnI liked it

very very impressed, this was my first visit to seagull reasturant ( definitely not the last) and I have to say it didn't disappoint, the food was exceptional the ambiunce of the place , service and attention to details was really something to appreciate, I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for authentic Alexandrian seafood dishes and a lovely dining experience.

Lovely and fresh food. So spacious with great sea view and open area.nEasy parking is another good advantage.nnThe disadvantages was that poor animals in cages just in the entrance and the music played in the open air part.nnPlace can be utilized and managed in more efficient way thatu2019s why I didnu2019t give 5 stars.

Authentic Alexandrian seafood restaurant. The restaurant interior has a beautiful antique exhibition open for sale. This is the first location in alexandrine found by a german lady. Outdoor seating has a breathtaking view of the mediterranean sea. The food is so delicious, and the service was pretty good—overall great experience.

Based on my personal experience. Sea Gull Restaurant. Delicious fresh seafood. Great service. Very friendly staff. A different style kids area ( horse ride) it’s fun for the kids. Wonderful atmosphere. Private parking. I highly recommended it

Update : April 2021nnThe place looks like it was recently renovated. The food is still great, the experience for kids must be amazing.nnHowever, prices soared. Place is extremely overpriced for the experience
