I took the kids for first time staying hotel experience. We all love the Pullman Hype Park. Great view and location. Staff was nice. Parking underground was so convenient and reasonable price. Price was average to high. Swimming pool was little bit cold and small but it was lovely view. Overall was fantastic. Kids kept asking to go back again. We will be back again 110% for sure. Thank you for our great experience. Love it so much.
I stayed at the Pullman Hyde Park over the world pride period. I paid about $1850 for 4 nights.nnThe rooftop pool area is great and also features a spa and gymnnThe rooms are very spacious. Minibar very well stocked and a huge spa bath.nnThe location is brilliant and very convenient. The hotel really embraced World Pride was was great to see. No doubt they made a killing also.nnIf you’re thinking about the MG parade on the future: I wasn’t informed about parade night restrictions, so it was a bit of a mess trying to regroup with a couple friends before heading to a post parade event - being told $70 just to let someone up to my room (only max 2 wristbands per room). That’s a freedom other hotels did not charge for.nnNow for the worst part: my bed was one of the most uncomfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept on. It basically was two singles stuck together to make a king/queen. Now I’m about 6ft and broad and found myself FALLING into the middle crack of these two mattresses. Honestly this was such a dampener. I value my sleep and this really didn’t cut it - so so uncomfortable. My main regret was not raising this - I wasn’t even asked how my stay was on check out.nnI’ll note that Brian at Pullman has taken the time to address my feedback, which I thought was impressive and I’m willing to give this hotel another chance and edit my rating.nnI’m told that these beds are being phased out, so if you do book here please ensure you aren’t given one of these beds.
Comfortable rooms and bed with a great view and lovely staff and service :) We stayed over the New Year and were surprised with welcome drink vouchers on arrival, a lovely bottle of Prosecco and mini desserts in our room. So thoughtful! We loved having a nice bathtub in our room and access to a 24/hr jacuzzi. There’s also a beautiful park nearby. Would definitely return
This was an amazing hotel. It had good food, good service, easy check-in, and anything and everything immersive to make you feel at home. I really liked the pool and the hot tub on the very top floor. The view we got from our room was AMAZING. Only concern, sauna wasn't as hot as expected.
The hotel was lovely, about what you would expect from a high end hotel. The rooms were clean, well equipped and accessible, the view was awesome, the elevators were quick. The pillows left a bit to be desired but as to be expected from anything that isn't home. The hotel was in a great spot for accessing Oxford St and party central, but quietly outside the noise and chaos. Lots of good food options around, fairly easy walk to the city center. Parking was clear and easy to access - really tiny spots though was a bit of a time getting in/out of the car. Overall great experience and would stay again.
Great value, amazing location.nnBest decision I made this trip was to upgrade my accommodation and booked this place instead of a 3-star hotel further away. I only paid a little more, but the value was much greater. The hotel is next to Hyde Park and the Australian Museum which is free to enter. We spent many hours at the museum.nnIf you’re willing to walk a bit, you can go to Darling Harbor, Circular Quay and other places on foot.nnThe staff were generally nice, but I requested for some items and they never arrived.nnOverall pleasant stay. If your a tourist visiting Sydney, this place is highly recommended for its location.
Very clean and spacious rooms and even had a large bath. The staff were very friendly and for the most part, the service was quick. It would have been nice to have some more power points and/or USB charging in the room.nnThe breakfast in the morning was a standard buffet and all the food was fresh and hot. My only complaint with the dining was that, at times, it missed the balance between excellent service and keeping the line moving.nnOverall it was exactly what you would expect given the star rating, the location was close enough to CBD for most things and I would definitely recommend this hotel
A fantastic location. Friendly staff. Beds were so comfy, the room was clean and bathroom was fresh too. Pillows - amazing! Room service was great. No issue extending parking to browse the CBD. Convenience store close by.
Beautiful room and bathtub. Good desk area. Good service. Good quality shower gel, shampoo and lotion.nAverage buffet breakfast considering the price is AUD 35 but not much variety of food.nRoom is not well soundproof. I can hear people talking in the corridor and upstairs. I can hear if next door's TV is on. Light switch is in the entrance.
Stayed here recently for a weekend.nWalking distance to Train Station, Dining and Capitol Theatre.nStaff were lovely.nBrunch was very good. Eggs and omelettes cooked freshly to your order.nLoads of breads, pastries, fruits and yoghurt.nRoom was clean, room service great too.
Nice location right next to Hyde park and a short walk into the city Centre. Nice spacious room with all the amenities you should need. Friendly helpful staff on hand to assist with any requests. Many good restaurants and cafe close by also
My daughter and I spent our weekend at the Pullman Hyde Park Corner in Sydney.nWe had the most beautiful experience. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The location was just perfect. It was the center point to Circular Quay and Darling Harbor. And the mall was just a 7 min walk away. Besides that, the park was right in front of the hotel.nHowever having said all of the above, what made our stay so memorable the courtesy and friendliness that the staff showed us. From the person who checked us in to the person who checked us out; the people at the breakfast buffet who so kindly catered to our specific culinary requirements. Exceptional!nIf we go to Sydney, Pullman will be our first choice.
From the moment we checked in, we were made welcome. A complimentary room upgrade overlooking Hyde Park, Concierge Services who were professional, warm and friendly. The indulgent jars of dark chocolate too tempting to refuse continually offered to everyone checking in.nnThe service crew during breakfast were managed by Daniel, who exuded confidence and courtesy, the buffet breakfast that was freshly made, and cappuccinos lovingly prepared by both Clover and Brigette...nnDo yourselves a favour and experience the joy that the team at Pullman Hyde Park makes you feel.
