Restaurant Olive & Angelo

We had a wonderful time and dinner there. We have been sitting at the 1at level. The whole team was perfect, especially the waiter who was very attentive to us throughout the dinner! The food was also perfect. We were able to chat with the manager who took the time to discuss with us. We recommend this place!

Absolutely stunning Italian restaurant to enjoy a wonderful dinner. The atmosphere was exceptionally lovely with gorgeous greenery and dim lights. All of the staff were very friendly. The food was scrumptious and drinks were lovely. Will definitely come back.

4.5 stars. Fantastic atmospheric and deco. Food is good but not fantastic, had the prawn, calamari, pasta and pizza. Price on the higher side for the the location, presentation n style (casual dining). Great service with the owner and team singing a entertaining birthday song to one of the customer (gave the 5 stars instead of 4 because of the singing) Very busy night but everything seem to be in control. Clean and well maintained. Definitely worth visiting esp if you like Italian food.

Place was absolutely packed on a Wednesday night- so right off the bat you knew it was going to be good.nnI went to order the octopus on special and it had already sold out before 7:30 pm - but not to worry because the prawn risotto came in to save the day, and was absolutely magical. The in-house made fresh sourdough is excellent, the pizzas were phenomenal, and the duck fat potatoes.... GOOD LORD.nnOur waitstaff were all very personable and helped us laugh and have a great time enjoying ourselves at dinner - gave great suggestions and could tell they were all passionate about the food. Already can't wait to come back to try out some of the other menu options! Thank you for a truly world-class culinary experience!

Great, authentic Italian food served in an intimate, contemporary setting. The crowd is very mixed and cosmopolitan.nnRight on the edge of the Botanical Gardens, this popular restaurant serves a good selection of rustic Italian cuisine with a modern twist.nnDelicious cocktail creations, and to be honest I'd love an expansion to their offerings.nnFriendly and attentive service, although I was a little bemused to have to ask for freshly ground pepper to be brought to the table.nnThe prawn gnocchi tempted me, but I ended up going for the risotto with fennel sausage and don't regret the decision.nnDefinitely somewhere that will feature in my list of "go to" restaurants.

It was obvious they use the best quality ingredients to produce dishes that are simply delightful. Beautifully presented as well.nnThe service – The owner and the staff truly care about your experience. You can tell making customers happy is a major priority. The staff were efficient, helpful, happy and polite.nnThe atmosphere – Comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Loved the olive trees.nnI can’t wait to return (so much on the menu I am dying to try) and would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to dine on unbelievably tasty Italian food.nnHighly recommend!

Lucky to get a table, so booking recommended. Lots of attentive staff on a fully booked out night, even apologetic for the delays we didn't notice, so they have a pretty strong efficient serving time. We never felt rushed!nAntipasti starter had some great meats and cheeses, olives and artichoke were very tasty too!nPizza Bianchi was amazing, best authentic wood fire oven dough I've tasted in a long time! Pasta very fresh tasting!nGreat ambiance, seating and surrounds were lovely to dine in.nGreat job, will be back for sure!

We ate brunch-time. It took awhile for our food to be served but its worth the wait. Love the margherita pizza, and truffle pasta. The lasagna is good tho but tasted a little burnt. We enjoyed the service, ambiance and staff.

What a delight, we were pleasantly surprised to get a booking at this restaurant on a busy Friday evening when the place was bustling with patrons. The experience was fantastic, the place has a lovely outside area that gives you that outdoor Italian dining experience in the centre of the city. The food was spectacular, the chef's have obviously refined the Italian classics and produce everything you'd want with simple, elegant and filling plates to satisfy that Italian craving. Best part of the whole experience though was the hospitality, the staff caught wind of my partner's birthday and all sung her happy birthday with the whole establishment joining in. Especially thanks to Liviana, her bubbling positive vibes brought a real joy to our experience and left us smiling ear to ear, thanks for a lovely evening!

Great service. Food was very close to that you would be having in Italy. The atmosphere and vibe was awesome with live music on a cozy Friday evening. Plenty of drinks to choose from. Overall 5 star rating. If you don't know what to pick from the menu, ask the friendly staff. Every dish recommended by the staff was beyond satisfying. Special shoutout to the Risotto and Gnocchi, perfectly flavoured.

Lovely ambience. The food was exquisite and the delicious dessert capped off a wonderful evening. Our server Grace was warm, attentive and helpful. Couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience.
