After reading all the amazing reviews, I thought I'd visit this place too. It's the restaurant of The Point Hotel at Kangaroo Point.nnEntrance is not that visible from the road, there is a winding staircase that takes you to the restaurant. Unfortunately, I got here at 4pm and only the lunch menu was available.nnLike all hotels, it was quite pretty inside with great service. The waitress was lovely, although she assumed I wouldn't be having any drinks. Maybe because it was 4pm, dunno.nnDishes:n* Calamari: Very nice crispy coating of pepper and some chilli flakes. On the salty side, wouldn't have minded having a cocktail with this. Calamari was very tender but slightly underdone for my taste.n* Prawns: amazing batter of panko and coconut. It was too sweet for my liking. I think it's a Brisbane thing to add sugar in everything. The mayo was nice.n* Broccoli: This was lightly oiled and grilled. I quite liked it, it tasted like a big vege steak.nnAll 3 dishes were oily, so a bit hard to eat. My selection was probably not the best, although I thought the broccoli would be healthy to offset the other 2 dishes. I had actually wanted to go back again to sample dessert + cocktail but ran out of time tonight. What a shame. I wish I had gone there for dinner, I'm sure it would have been amazing.nFood 4🌟nService 5🌟
We ordered the seafood pasta that was missing any real taste, very bland dish and beef burger and 40 minutes after ordering the waitress came to us and said the burger will be well done not medium because they are still defrosting the burger! Very strange behaviour and not fresh ingredients. We had 2 starters which was okay, a salad and squid. I don’t understand how this place is more than 4 stars
What an absolutely amazing place, great food, great service, we were served by Yvonne and imi who were absolutely lovely, it was a last minute decision to go to lamberts after our proposal and I'm glad we picked this restaurant, we will definitely be back, thankyou for the free dessert ☺️
We came to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary and the the team treated us like royalty. A very special night, the food was delicious and the atmosphere delightful. We will be back.
Lamberts has always been 'go to place for me. Menu is good and they always look after my wife who has dietary restrictions. Staff are very helpful and make the night memorable. I recommend without hesitation.
We dined at Lambert's towards the end of my pregnancy. Hubby and I felt the wait staff were very attentive to our every need. The food was delicious combined with great ambience that was warm, yet quiet enough to hold a conversation. A great date night venue. We even received a follow-up email after dining at the restaurant inviting us back to dine again. Highly recommended for those wanting a great dining experience!
The food was exceptional.nThe staff at Lamberts are some of the best Iu2019ve ever experienced and completely surpass other Brisbane restaurants. The 3+ Angus was sublime, the ambiance was private and cosy.nI cannot stress enough how excellent the staff were. After my fiancu00e9 left her bag under the table the waiter ran out the front of the building to return it to her. This is a simple example of the exceptional service the restaurant provides. If a friend or colleague asks me where they should go to eat I will recommend Lamberts and be confident in my decision.

Oh. My. Goodness. What an absolutely fabulous place. We were staying in the hotel and got to enjoy dinner as a package. We did not expect the quality and enjoyability that we experienced. Food was phenomenal, absolutely beautiful, the wine options were a perfect fit, and the service was next level. We were lucky to have Yvonne the manager as our host and she made us feel so welcomed without being intrusive. Marcus the chef did an amazing job and even went above and beyond with some special touches. Couldn't have had a better dinner experience in our opinion.
Dinner was excellent as was the customer service. The menu was loaded with great options. Delicious desert was cocktail options.
We had a great time celebrating my birthday here for dinner. The pork was melt in your mouth. Joe was an amazing server and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Would 100% recommend and dine again.
