The Wild Wadi Water Park in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is an outdoor water park. The water park is owned by Jumeirah International, a Dubai-based hotelier, and is located in the Jumeirah district, next to the Burj Al Arab and the Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
A heated/cooled wave pool, several water slides, and two artificial surfing machines are available at Wild Wadi. The park used to have the world’s biggest water slide, but it was decommissioned to make room for two other rides. The park also has an 18-meter (59-foot) waterfall that runs every ten minutes. There are two gift shops, three cafes, and two snack stalls at the water park.
The standard downhill slides are referred to as Ring Rides. Riders have the option of sitting in a single or double loop.
Two new swings, Tantrum Alley and Burj Surj, have taken the place of the family swings. Both are the region’s first of their kind. Tantrum Alley is a three-tornado roll, while Burj Surj has two bowls.
Outside of North and South America, the Jumeirah Sceirah is the world’s tallest and highest free-fall water slide. Riders can achieve speeds of up to 80 km/h as they rise to 33 meters (108 feet) (50 mph).
Wipeout and Riptide, two FlowRider rides, are surfing simulators that spray more than seven tons of water per second around moulded foam surfaces in a thin sheet.
Riders can bodyboard, kneeboard, or surf on these rides, which create a realistic wave effect.
Breakers Bay is the Middle East’s biggest wave lake. In five different configurations, it generates parallel and crossing 1.5 m (4.9 ft) waves.
Juha’s Journey is a 360-meter (1,180-foot) long river that helps visitors to unwind and float through the park.
Juha’s Dhow and Lagoon is Wild Wadi’s children’s play area, with over 100 water games and rides.
